Dead Eye is a Red Dead Redemption skill that allows you to slow down time and fire very accurate shots. You will automatically unlock it shortly after starting the game and improve it a couple of times over the course of the story. At the highest level, you will be able to mark the exact point to shoot. To use the Dead Eye, you need to fill in the respective gauge.

  • Snake oil.
  • Chewing tobacco.
  • Moonshine (allows you to use the Dead Eye without limit for 10 seconds).

Step 4. Use the level 3 Dead Eye to make precise shots

You can use this advanced aiming mode to perform incredible feats, such as five consecutive headshots or take your gun out of an enemy's hand. When you activate the Dead Eye, it quickly analyzes the situation and marks the targets in the most effective way.

  • Shooting a running horse briefly removes its rider from the fight.
  • By taking the gun out of an enemy's hand, you can gain time or life, depending on the situation.
  • By using Level 3 Dead Eye, some of the hunting challenges become much easier, especially when you are hunting birds.

Advice

  • Use the Dead Eye when surrounded, because it makes you invincible and allows you to take out several enemies at the same time.
  • The Dead Eye illuminates dark places, so it can be very useful at night or in caves.
  • Activating the Dead Eye will automatically reload the weapon you have equipped.
  • Dead Eye makes your weapons slightly more powerful than normal.
