In Pokémon Sun and Moon, Crabrawler is a Crab-like Fighting-type monster that evolves into a Fighting / Ice-type Crabominable. This article explains how to make it evolve.
Steps
Step 1. Learn where to find Crabrawler
Look for it in the berry trees of Routes 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 10, 16 and 17, in the Lido of Ula Ula, in the Prairie of Poni and in three points of the Plain of Poni. The odds are highest on Route 10 and Poni Prairie. Depending on the location you choose, the Pokémon will be between level 7 and 57.
Step 2. Approach a berry tree in one of the areas mentioned in step 1 and press A on the berries
If there is a Crabrawler on the tree, an exclamation point will appear on your character's head and the fight will begin. If you don't find the Pokémon on any of the trees, you have to wait for the berries to grow again.
Step 3. Capture Crabrawler
If it's low level, you can use a Nido ball.
Step 4. Go to Mount Lanakila
Level up Crabrawler in this area and it will evolve into Crabominable. The Pokémon will evolve at any level except 100, so you can get a Level 2 Crabominable if you wish (using a Level 1 Crabrawler obtained by pairing two Pokémon).
Advice
- To level up Crabrawler you can use rare candies.
- If you don't want to fight Crabrawler, you don't have to. You can replace it with another Pokémon after having it participate in the fight for a turn, or use the Share Exp, so you don't even have to let it fight.
- If Crabrawler calls an ally while trying to catch him, you must defeat the second Pokémon before you can throw your Pokéballs. Be prepared to fight for some time, as multiple allies can arrive in the course of a single fight. You don't have to worry about this if you haven't passed the first challenge yet, because only after that point in the story will the Pokémon call allies.
