Advice
- It is always better to prevent the installation of unsolicited or unnecessary programs or applications (indicated on the web with the acronyms "PUP" and "PUA") which are increasingly distributed in conjunction with other products. It is the best way to prevent unpleasant situations.
- To prevent such programs from being installed on your system, you should carefully read the instructions that appear on the screen during the application and software installation procedure. Very often when you install some programs, by default, other unnecessary or unwanted tools are also added. With due care you can prevent this from happening by deselecting the relevant check buttons. This rule also applies when using a Mac. This is extremely simple advice, but if applied consistently it will keep your computer safe and sound.
- Since the program in question is optional and is not integrated into the Mac operating system, the fact that it is present in the computer means that the user (voluntarily or not) has authorized its download and installation.
