Sometimes commercial cleansers can be harmful to the environment and irritating to the most sensitive skin. The brands of glass cleaner you find in the store contain harmful chemicals that can cause health problems. By simply creating your own glass cleaner, you can save money, preserve the environment and safeguard your skin.
Steps
Method 1 of 6: Vinegar and Dish Soap
Step 1. Mix one cup of vinegar, 1/2 teaspoon of dish soap and 4 liters of warm water
Step 2. Spray the mixture and use it as a normal glass cleaner
Method 2 of 6: Lemon Zest
Step 1. A few weeks before making the mixture, soak some lemon peels in the vinegar and keep them
Step 2. Squeeze the lemon mixture and pour it into a bottle
Step 3. Mix one cup of lemon vinegar with one cup of water in a spray
Method 3 of 6: Club Soda
Step 1. Pour some soda into a spray and use it as a normal cleanser
Method 4 of 6: Corn Starch
Step 1. Mix a cup of vinegar, and a cup of starch in 4 liters of water
Step 2. Mix well
Method 5 of 6: Alcohol
Step 1. Mix 1/3 cup distilled white vinegar with 1/4 cup alcohol
Method 6 of 6: Alcohol and Dish Soap
Step 1. Add half a cup of alcohol and two squirts of dish soap that does not contain phosphorus to 4 liters of warm water
Advice
- It is best to use distilled white vinegar as spiced vinegars such as apple vinegar may leave streaks on the glass.
- When cleaning the windows, dry with a newspaper rather than the usual kitchen paper. Newspaper absorbs dirt better than kitchen paper.
