This article explains how to use the Google Chrome Home button to quickly load the web page that has been set as the program's home screen on both Mac and Windows.
Steps
Step 1. Launch Google Chrome on your computer
It features a multicolored circular icon with a blue sphere in the center. You can find it inside the "Applications" folder on Mac or in the Windows "Start" menu.
Step 2. Click on the icon depicting three vertically aligned dots
It is located in the upper right corner of the Chrome window. The main program menu will be displayed.
Step 3. Click on the Settings menu item
The Chrome "Settings" page will appear inside a new browser tab.
Step 4. Click the Show Home Button slider
to activate it.
It is listed within the "Appearance" section of the "Settings" menu. A small icon depicting a stylized house will appear on the left of the Chrome address bar located at the top of the window.
Step 5. Click on the icon depicting a stylized house
This is the Chrome Home button. It's located in the upper left corner of the program window, next to the Chrome address bar. In this way, within the current tab, the web page that has been set as the browser start page will be loaded immediately.
