This article explains how to delete a Telegram account and all the conversations it contains using a desktop browser.
Steps
Step 1. Open your browser
You can use any of them, such as Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Opera.
Step 2. Go to the Telegram account deactivation page
Type my.telegram.org/deactivate in the browser address bar and press Enter on your keyboard.
Step 3. Enter your phone number in the "Your Phone Number" field
It should be the same number you associated with your Telegram account.
Make sure you include the country code at the beginning of the number. All codes begin with a "+" sign
Step 4. Click on the blue Next button
On your mobile you will receive a text message containing a confirmation code. You will need to enter it on your computer to deactivate the account.
Step 5. Enter the confirmation code in the appropriate field
Look for the alphanumeric code in the text message you received on your mobile and type it in this box.
Step 6. Click on the blue Sign In button
If the confirmation code is correct, a page titled "Delete Your Account?" Will open.
Step 7. Click on the Done button
It is located at the bottom of the page and allows you to cancel your account on Telegram.
