This article explains how to transfer bookmarks stored within Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox from one computer to another.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Google Chrome
Step 1. Connect a USB memory drive to your computer
Using a normal USB stick is perhaps the simplest and fastest way to transfer the bookmarks stored in Google Chrome from one computer to another.
If you don't have a USB stick, you can attach the bookmark file to an email and send it by email
Step 2. Launch Google Chrome on your computer
The program icon is located within the section All apps from the Windows "Start" menu or inside the folder Applications on Mac.
Step 3. Click on the ⁝ button
It is located in the upper right corner of the browser window. The main program menu will be displayed.
Step 4. Select the Favorites item
A submenu will be displayed.
Step 5. Click on the Manage Favorites option
It is displayed at the top of the newly appeared menu.
Step 6. Click on the "Organize" button ⁝
It is located in the upper right corner of the "Favorites" page (in this case you do not have to click on the "⁝" button located in the upper right corner of the Chrome window).
Step 7. Click on the Export Favorites item
A system dialog will appear allowing you to choose where to save the file.
Step 8. Navigate to the folder where you want to save the favorites export file

If you have chosen to use email, save the export file inside the folder Download (or at an easily accessible point of your choice).
Step 9. Click the Save button
The file with Chrome bookmarks will be saved in the folder indicated in HTML format. When the export and save process is complete, unplug the USB stick from your computer using the removal wizard to avoid losing any information on the external storage drive.
If you have chosen to use e-mail, open the client you normally use to manage e-mails, create a new message, attach the favorites file and send it to your e-mail address
