This article explains how to request a car on Uber for a person who cannot reserve it. Having entered its starting point, you can also configure the destination, select an Uber service and get an estimate of the final cost to avoid nasty surprises.
Steps
Step 1. Open the Uber application
If you are not logged in automatically, enter your login information.
Step 2. Find out about the other person's current location
Step 3. Tap Where To?
Step 4. Tap Current Address, box located at the top of the screen
Depending on your settings, the box may contain the actual address instead of "Current Address"
Step 5. Enter the other person's location
You can type the address in the box or set the location on the map.
Step 6. Tap Where To?

Step 7. Enter the passenger's destination
If you don't want to add it, tap "Enter Destination Later". However, this way you won't be able to roughly calculate the cost of the ride
Step 8. Select one of the available machines
At the bottom of the screen, the cost of the trip will appear under each available option.
Step 9. Tap Confirm Uber
Once the driver has accepted the request, the car will be sent to the place where it is located.
Step 10. Tap the driver avatar
Its name will be shown on the screen, as well as the make, model and license plate number of the car.
Step 11. Send driver information to the passenger to help him identify the car when he arrives at his destination
It is also good to call the driver to let him know that you have booked a ride for someone else. Give him the passenger's name and describe it briefly so that he knows who to look for
Advice
- Once the driver has accepted the request, take a screenshot of his data, so that the passenger knows which vehicle to look for.
- You can only request one Uber at a time. Until this request has been completed, you will not be able to reserve a car for yourself or someone else.
