This article teaches you to search for a user's Instagram profile even if you don't have an account.
Steps
Step 1. Get the profile name of the user you are looking for
If you already know his username, you can use it to search for his account.
- Keep in mind one thing: while you can search for any user, you can only see the contents of public accounts.
- It is often possible to find a person's Instagram username by doing a search on the other social networks of the user in question.
Step 2. Go to https://www.instagram.com in a browser
You can log in and browse Instagram on a computer without logging in.
Step 3. Add / profile_name to the end of the URL
Replace "profile_name" with the username of the person you are looking for.
For example, if you are looking for the wikiHow feed, you should add / wikihow to the end of the Instagram URL in the address bar. The URL should be the following:

If you spelled the name correctly, the profile page of the user you searched for will open. In case the account is private, the message "This account is private" will appear. If it's public, you'll be able to see the shared photos.
Step 5. Search for an account on Google
If you're looking for a celebrity or other public figure, you can usually find their Instagram profile by doing a Google search.
- For example, if you are looking for Beyoncé's feed, type "Beyoncé's official Instagram account". Adding the adjective "official" helps to find the real profile (rather than one created by fans).
- Found the account in the results, click on the link to see the photos and videos posted.
