This article explains how to block a contact on Viber using an iPhone or iPad so that they cannot call or text you.
Steps
Step 1. Open Viber on your device
The application icon is represented by a white telephone handset in a purple dialogue bubble. It is located on the Home screen or in a folder on the Home screen.
Step 2. Tap the Contacts tab
The icon for this button looks like a human silhouette and is located in the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen. The list of all your contacts will be opened.
Step 3. Tap a contact name on the list
This will open your profile page.
Make sure there is a Viber icon next to the contact name on the list. If you don't see it, that means you don't use the application
Step 4. Tap the white pencil icon
This button is located in the upper right corner of the user's profile page. It will allow you to edit his information in the contact list.
Step 5. Tap Block this contact
This option is located at the bottom of the changes page. The selected contact will be blocked instantly and will not be able to text or call you.
When you block someone on Viber, consider that they can still text you or call you directly on their mobile. This method allows you to lock it only within the application
Step 6. Tap Save
This button is located in the upper right corner of the screen and will allow you to save the new settings.
