Steps
Method 1 of 2: Using the Chat Menu
Step 1. Open Viber on your iPhone or iPad
The icon is a purple speech bubble containing a white telephone handset. You can find it on the home screen or in a folder.

If a conversation opens, tap the icon

Step 2. Tap the Chat tab
This button looks like a dialogue bubble and is located at the bottom left. Allows you to open the list of all private and group chats.
Step 3. Tap a conversation in the list
The chosen chat will be opened in full screen.
Step 4. Check the last connection of the contact at the top of the screen
At the top of the conversation you can see a purple bar showing the contact's name. Check if "Online" appears below.
If the user is offline, the date or time of the last access to Viber will appear
Method 2 of 2: Using the Contacts Menu
Step 1. Open Viber on your iPhone or iPad

Step 2. Tap the Contacts tab
It features a human silhouette and is located at the bottom of the screen. Open the list of all your contacts.
Step 3. Tap the Viber tab at the top
This tab excludes all contacts in the address book who do not have an account on Viber, thus showing only those who use the application.
Step 4. Tap a contact in the list
This will open his profile page.
Step 5. Check the contact's last login at the top of the screen
Look for their name at the top of their profile page and see if "Online" appears below.
