This article explains how to indicate that you like someone's comment in an Instagram post.
Steps

Step 1. Open Instagram
The icon looks like a colored camera and can be found on the home screen (iPhone / iPad) or in the app drawer (Android).
Instagram introduced the ability to "like" comments in December 2016. If you haven't updated the app for a while, please update to make sure you can indicate that you like a comment

Step 2. Tap See all comments under a post
This will load the comment list.
- The comments screen will also open if the post has only one.
- You can indicate that you like comments both under your posts and under those of other users, be it photos or videos.

Step 3. Tap the little heart next to the comment you like
The heart will turn red, thus confirming that you like the publication.
- The person who wrote the comment will be notified as a result of this operation.
- The amount of "likes" received by a comment appears below the comment itself.
Advice
- If you change your mind about a comment, tap the heart again to remove the "Like".
- "Like" a comment helps show support or thank other users on Instagram.
