Wearing eyeglasses properly can prevent them from continually spreading or falling out. As for sunglasses, wearing them correctly can ensure that they rest comfortably and protect your eyes. While the act of putting them on is simple, putting on your glasses correctly can be difficult. Here is a wikiHow on how to wear glasses.
Steps
Step 1. Put on your glasses
To put your glasses on, you should grab the front of the frame with both hands. Slide the rods over your ears and gently lower the bezel onto your nose.
Step 2. Don't make them enlarge
Make sure you don't wear the glasses on your head when you're not using them, as they will widen.
Step 3. Wear them in the right position
When wearing glasses, you need to touch the bridge (the stretch on the nose) with your index finger and push it so that the frame sits comfortably on top of the nose. Unless your optician has specifically instructed you to wear the glasses in another position, they should be positioned comfortably at the top of the forehead, 12 to 13 millimeters from the eyes.
Step 4. Remove them the right way
You can remove the glasses using the same grip as described above, simultaneously lifting the ends of the rods and sliding the glasses forward with both hands.
Step 5. Have them adjusted periodically
When your glasses are stretched and out of shape, don't hesitate to take them to your local optician for an adjustment. This is usually free.
