Once you start going to junior high, you'll want to look as pretty as possible to please the guys or just to feel good about yourself. Proceed as follows, to be beautiful in the most natural way possible.
Steps
Step 1. Try to have good personal hygiene
Tousled, greasy hair and bad breath can score points against you; so, make sure you wash yourself properly. You should always have a deodorant with you and leave it in your locker at school or carry it in your purse or backpack. Also, never forget to brush your teeth every morning!
Wash your face morning and evening. Greasy skin full of impurities won't make you a pretty girl. If you have any imperfections, don't worry: just use the concealer
Step 2. Consider getting yourself a new hairstyle
If you can't afford to go to a beauty salon, you can buy a hair straightener and the necessary products at the pharmacy. Look for good guides in magazines like Modern Girl or Vogue and style your hair yourself while having fun.
- Some cuts and hairstyles to try: short with a cute bangs and hair ribbons, medium length layered, straight and long, with braids, with small curls on the sides of the face, a bun held by a hair net, two tufts - one on each side of the head, a messy bun.
- Add in flower-shaped hair clips and headbands, pink rubber bands and those accessories to keep the braids in place.
Step 3. Put on light makeup
Ask your parents for permission first, however, since not all parents agree on letting their daughters wear makeup since middle school. PS: Don't say "all the other girls do it" to try to convince them. Cosmetics are a tool for defining the best features of your features. Using them moderately will give you better results.
- Avoid overdoing it when putting on makeup. Try putting on some eyeliner and mascara if you want to make your eyes stand out, or try a quick swipe of lip gloss to finish off your look.
- If you want to wear eyeshadow, don't use bright colors like blue or pink. Natural tones such as brown, dark green, etc. they should work. Find the colors that suit you best!
- For the lips, just use colored or transparent balm or a little lip gloss and always carry them with you in your bag for any retouching! A pale pink lipstick could also be a good choice, but keep in mind that you are going to school, not to a prom.
Step 4. Be yourself
This is the most important thing. While it may be difficult for you to feel comfortable showing yourself the way you are, you need to be proud of yourself. Don't let anyone tell you how you should be; it is you who must decide your life.
Step 5. Be smart
Doing the part of the freak on duty would be a bad idea. Study hard and do all your homework. Just because they're having a party you want to go to doesn't mean you have to go without studying or doing your homework.
Step 6. Put on some perfume
Your goal should be to leave behind the aroma of a sweet fragrance, not a vulgar smell. Go to shops to look for a perfume that enhances you; remember not to pick one that's too strong, though.
Step 7. Always be in the latest fashion
Wear soft pastel sweaters, short skirts and shorts (don't overdo it), cute short-sleeved t-shirts and ballet flats or sandals. You can also wear cute jackets, black Converse (teachers shouldn't notice), patterned socks and a small charm.
Advice
- You smile!! It is the most important thing you should do! You are always prettier when you smile than with a pout! Plus, guys love to see a smile on a beautiful girl's face!

- It doesn't matter what other people think of you; do what you feel and trust yourself! This is what really matters. Eventually, everyone will admire you for it.
- One very important thing: be yourself. Don't try to imitate someone else, whether it's a classmate or a famous TV personality.
- If you wish, bring a brush, two hair ties and a pair of barrettes with you in case your hairstyle gets damaged. You can get back on your feet or use them to help out a friend who has had a bad day.

- If you are a little overweight just try a little diet. Be careful not to overdo it and talk to a doctor before starting. Doing a lot of sport will help keep you fit.
- Be yourself!
Warnings
- Don't try to show off to get guys to notice. Self you you want them to like you, they have to like it you for who you are and not just for your pretty face.
- Don't be superficial by only dating good-looking guys. By doing so, you would end up losing out.
- Try not to use concealer or foundation whenever possible. They could make your acne worse and that would certainly not be good. Some girls wear foundation even though they already have perfect skin, they start having problems and are forced to continue using it for years.
- Don't pretend to be friends with people you don't even know.
- Don't go after a guy you like as his little dog. You would make a fool of yourself.
- If you decide to wear perfume, try not to wear one that tastes like fruit. Some people like the scent of oranges; others find it difficult for them to concentrate.
- Don't go overboard with your makeup. You should aim for a natural look, using colors that match your eyes and complexion. When a guy looks at you would you like him to think you have makeup on or that you look beautiful on your own? Plus, using cosmetics that are right for you will make you look even more beautiful.
- Don't wear a push-up bra until you are at least sixteen! They would make you look hideous, especially if you already have very developed breasts for your age.
