It's not always easy to tell if a guy has a crush on you. Some guys make fun of girls they have a crush on, others are more romantic and open about their feelings. While every guy is different, there are many signs that tell you if a guy sees you as more than just a friend. When you know the truth, you can either start a relationship with that guy or settle for knowing the reality of things. If you want to learn if a guy has a crush on you, start reading from Step 1.

Part 1 of 3: Observe his Behavior
Step 1. Notice if they try to make a good impression on you
If a guy has a crush on you, he'll go out of his way to make a good impression. He will want to convince you that he is brave, exciting, cool and a little bit crazy. The next time you're in the presence of the guy who might have a crush on you, notice if he starts trying to say or do something with the intent of impressing you. If she tries to show off when she plays sports, brags about her spectacular weekend plans, does out-of-the-ordinary things like jumping into the pool dressed up, or engaging in other behaviors that seem to impress you, she may have a crush on you.

One of the easiest ways to tell if a guy likes you these days is to notice what he does with his phone. He may be too shy to communicate with you in person and may feel more comfortable talking to you on the phone. Here are some signs that may indicate a crush on you:
- Did he ask you for your number? If he hasn't, don't despair - he may want to give his to show you he's interested. If he gives you his number, text him right away with your name so he can have yours too. Then smile at him and say something like: "Call me every now and then, so we can go out!".

If a guy always tells you that none of the girls he knows are the right one for him, or that none are as smart, beautiful, or interesting as you are, it could be his way of saying that you are the girl he wants. If he's been dating girls and tells you he doesn't like them, or if he's always telling you how other girls can't stand comparison, he's trying to tell you that you're the right girl for him.

Step 3. Notice if he's always trying to find ways to compliment you
Another sign that a guy has a crush on you is that he always finds a way to compliment you. He may not say obvious things like "You look beautiful today," but he may tell you that your dress is a beautiful color, that he likes your new earrings, or that he thinks your new shoes are great. He may also ask you to invite you to spend the weekend with him or because he hopes you will propose it. If he wants to know what you do when you're not in school, he probably would like to spend more time with you.
- It might say something simple, like, "Are you doing something fun this weekend?". If you answer no, he may take the opportunity to ask you to see each other. If he does, he probably has a crush on you.
- Look at his face when he asks you what you do on the weekend. If you reply that you see yourself with friends, you should notice some relief on her face, because you don't see other guys.

He might even play with his phone or look at it to get something to do. This may not mean that he is bored and wants to talk to someone else, but that he is nervous because he is talking to you
Step 5. Notice if he tries to settle down in your presence
