One Direction are climbing the charts with their songs. So how can we not notice Harry Styles, the most popular guy of the group? With the following simple steps you can immediately draw the beautiful Harry Styles. Let's get started right away!
Steps
Method 1 of 3: Realistic Version of Harry Styles
Step 1. Start by drawing the outline sketch of Harry Styles' head
Step 2. Outline the outline of the face
Step 3. Draw the actual lines of the face
Step 4. Continue with the actual ear lines and chin profile
Step 5. Add Harry Styles' signature wavy hair
They are thick, curly, brown in color and always combed in one direction. Always remember to emphasize the appearance or dominant feature of a subject when making a realistic representation.
Step 6. Draw the actual lines of the body and clothes
Step 7. Erase the outline sketches
Step 8. Color the draft
Method 2 of 3: Realistic Version of Harry Styles (Face)
Step 1. Draw a simple circle
- This is the top of the head.
- Remember to use a pencil suitable for sketching so you can erase when you're done and have a clean drawing.
Step 2. Add guidelines
- You will need these lines to help you draw the shape of the face.
- Add an imaginary vertical line across the center of the face.
- Draw lines for the jaw and cheeks. Irregular lines will do.
Step 3. Complete the cheeks and jaw
- Using the guidelines you drew earlier, finish off the jaw and cheeks. Draw an angular chin for Harry.
- At this point you will have a guide frame for the shape of her face.
Step 4. Add guidelines for the mouth and eyes
- First draw two lines above and below the horizontal center line of the face (the space created will serve for the nose and cheeks).
- Now draw another line above the upper parallel line, you will need it for the eyes.
- For the mouth, draw a parallel line below. Leave more room for it.
Step 5. Draw the hair
- You don't need to spend a lot of time just styling your hair, simple wavy strokes will do.
- Make sure your hair is voluminous and soft. They will need to be curled and waved just like Harry's!
Step 6. Draw her face
- For the nose and dimples, draw simple lines, nothing complicated. But don't forget to add some pleats on the cheeks and her characteristic dimples.
- For the eyes draw an almond-shaped circle.
- For the eyebrows draw a compact arc.
- Harry's lips are fuller in the lower lip and thinner in the upper one.
Step 7. With a pen draw your sketch on top
- Keep in mind the overlapping lines and the parts that should be hidden.
- The sketch lines may not be perfect and crisp, but, when the pencil marks are erased, they will appear sharp.
Step 8. Erase the pencil sketch and add the details
The final sketch
Step 9. Color Harry
Method 3 of 3: Cartoon Version of Harry Styles
Step 1. Draw an oval
This will be Harry's head in cartoon version
Step 2. Add body and arms
- Since this type of cartoon is often made into a mascot or avatar, feel free to change the proportions of the head and body.
- The body is a simple rectangle, slightly tilted for its pose.
- Draw the two arms on the upper body and outline a pose.
Step 3. Add guidelines
- These lines will guide you in drawing the face shape.
- Add an imaginary vertical line through the center of the face and two parallel lines for the eyes.
Step 4. Draw the face
Remember to add Harry's distinctive smile and dimples
Step 5. Draw the ears and hands with circles
Step 6. Draw the hair
- You don't need to spend a lot of time just styling your hair, simple wavy strokes will do.
- Make sure your hair is voluminous and soft. They will need to be curled and waved just like Harry's!
