A flavourful condiment that accompanies sushi and other traditional Asian dishes, wasabi is a bright green paste, prepared with a powerful variety of Japanese horseradish. Used as a condiment and as a basic ingredient to make sauces and creams, horseradish is capable of adding spiciness and flavor to any dish.
Making wasabi is easy. You can create a pure wasabi using its root or powder, or you can prefer a different basic ingredient and an alternative recipe that includes, for example, the use of white horseradish, mustard and green food coloring. The latter mixture will be very similar to that normally available in supermarkets.

You don't necessarily have to throw them away, you can eat them and add them to a good salad, or leave them to dry and store them for later use.
Step 3. Make the wasabi
Wash the outside of the root. Remove any dents or stains. Let the root air dry.
Step 4. Use a fine grater to get the desired amount of wasabi
Step 5. Gather the grated wasabi
Squeeze it and shape it to form a small ball.
Step 6. Let the wasabi sit for about 10 minutes before serving
This wait will intensify the flavor.
Method 2 of 4: Wasabi Paste with Pure Wasabi Powder

Use a measuring cup and pour the ingredients into a small bowl or container.

The result will be a thick paste.
Method 3 of 4: Maintain the Freshness of the Wasabi Paste
Step 1. Cover the wasabi with a lid
Step 2. Before consuming the wasabi let it rest for at least 10-15 minutes to allow the flavors to blend and blend
Step 3. Refresh the wasabi by mixing it and shaping it back into a ball
Alternatively, add a small amount of freshly made wasabi to the one prepared earlier.
Method 4 of 4: Storage
Step 1. Store wasabi for a short period of time
After reaching its peak in flavor, wasabi gradually loses its potency over time.
