This article explains how to log into your Snapchat account.
Steps
Method 1 of 3: Log into Snapchat
Step 1. Open the Snapchat application
The icon depicts a white ghost on a yellow background.
If you haven't installed it yet, download it first
Step 2. Tap Sign In
Step 3. Tap the field titled "Username or Email"
It's at the top of the page.
Step 4. Enter your username or email address
The credentials must be identical to the ones you provided when you set up your account on Snapchat.
Step 5. Tap the password field
It is the second text box.
Step 6. Type your password
Step 7. Tap Sign In
This button is located at the bottom of the screen. If the username (or email address) and password match, you will see your account.

Method 2 of 3: Reset Password Using a Mobile Phone
Step 1. Open the Snapchat application

Step 2. Tap the field titled "Username or Email", which is the top line
Step 3. Enter your username or email address:
you will need it to proceed with the password reset.
Step 4. Tap Forgot Password?
. It is located below the password field.
Step 5. Tap Via Phone
This option allows you to receive a verification link via SMS. If the process goes well, you will be able to reset your Snapchat password.
If you have not registered any phone numbers on Snapchat, you will need to use the "Via Email" option, explained in the next section
Step 6. Prove that you are not a robot
You will have to try a little test to prove that you are not a spammer. The instructions vary, so follow the directions that appear on the screen.
Step 7. Tap Continue at the bottom of the screen
Step 8. Enter your phone number
Step 9. Tap Continue
Step 10. Tap Send via SMS
This way Snapchat will send a verification code to the indicated phone number.
You can also tap the "I'd rather receive a phone call" option to be contacted by a Snapchat representative
Step 11. Open the message received from Snapchat
It will contain a six-digit code, accompanied by the words "Happy snapping!".
Make sure you don't close Snapchat during the process
Step 12. Enter the six-digit code on the page titled "Enter Verification Code"
Step 13. Tap Continue
Step 14. Choose a new password and confirm it
The two passwords must match for you to continue.
Step 15. Tap Continue at the bottom of the page
If the two codes match, the password will be successfully reset and you will be able to log in as usual.
Method 3 of 3: Reset a Password Using Email
Step 1. Open Snapchat

Step 2. Tap the "Username or Email" field
It is the first line of the page.
Step 3. Enter your username or email address
You need this data to proceed with the password reset.
Step 4. Tap Forgot Password?
. This link is located under the password field.
Step 5. Tap Via Email
By selecting this option, you will receive a link to reset your password to the e-mail address registered on Snapchat.
Step 6. Tap the Email field
It is located above the "I'm not a robot" box.
Step 7. Type the email address associated with Snapchat
Step 8. Tap the box next to "I'm not a robot"
This option is to make sure you are a real user, rather than a spammer.
It may be necessary to do a little test, for example you may be asked to select images within a grid based on a certain criterion, and then tap the "Verify" link
Step 9. Tap Submit at the bottom of the page
At this point, Snapchat will send you a verification email.
Step 10. Open your inbox
Step 11. Open the message
The sender should be "Snapchat Team" and the subject "Snapchat Password Reset".
If you don't see this message, try looking for it in your junk mail folder (if you use Gmail, also check the "Updates" folder)
Step 12. Tap the restore link
It is located in the central part of the message received from Snapchat.
Step 13. Type a new password and confirm it
The two passwords must match for you to proceed.
Step 14. Tap Change Password
The Snapchat password will have been successfully reset. At this point you will be able to log into your account.
