Learn four ways to draw a vampire by following the simple steps in this article. Let's start!
Steps
Method 1 of 4: Cartoon-style vampire
Step 1. Draw a circle for the head and join a curved shape with a pointed corner below the circle
Add a horizontal line to the center of the circle and draw a vertical curved line near the left side of the circle.
Step 2. Draw an elongated shape under the shape you drew earlier
Step 3. Extend the elongated shape by creating the cape
Step 4. Add an elaborate collar to the cape, giving the ends a pointed shape
Step 5. Draw the outline of the vampire's body using a square
Draw the vampire's legs using long lines and draw a circle to make the feet.
Step 6. Add face details using the cross lines you drew earlier as a guide
Draw the eyes using two egg shapes and add a curved line in the eye for the lids. Draw two small circles for the pupils and curved lines for the eyebrows. Draw the nose and mouth. Add two small inverted triangles to make vampire teeth.
Step 7. Draw the outline of the vampire's face and hair
Add the ear, making the top tip slightly pointed.
Step 8. Define the collar and cape by tracing using the contours as a reference
Step 9. Draw the hands and add the details of the vampire's outfit, for example adding buttons
Step 10. Define the details of the vampire's pants and shoes
Step 11. Erase unnecessary lines
Step 12. Color the drawing
Method 2 of 4: Simple Vampire (Head)
Step 1. Draw a circle
Add an elongated shape to make the vampire's chin. Add two curved lines that cross near the left side of the design, extending the vertical one across the chin.
Step 2. Draw two oblique lines to make the neck and add a wide curved line for the shoulders
Step 3. Draw the collar of the vampire's cloak using curved lines
Make each end slightly pointed.
Step 4. Using the crisscross lines as a guide, draw the vampire's eyes and eyebrows
Make an intense and naughty look by adding some short lines as a guide between the lashes.
Step 5. Draw the nose using small oblique lines
At this angle, the nose is smaller than it would be in a normal portrait.
Step 6. Draw the vampire's mouth
Emphasize the vampire's characteristic canines when drawing teeth.
Step 7. Trace the outline of the face
Add the ear by making it pointed.
Step 8. Draw the vampire's hair with short, oblique strokes
Darken and add details to the vampire's outfit, for example by drawing a bow tie or whatever you want
Step 9. Delete all unnecessary lines
You can add long oblique lines in areas that are normally dark or in shadow.
Step 10. Color the drawing
Method 3 of 4: Airborne Vampire with Bat
Step 1. Draw the basic sketch for the head and back
Step 2. Add the contours of the face
Step 3. Draw the basic outline for the cloak
Step 4. Draw the head
Step 5. Draw the actual outlines for the cloak
Step 6. Make a sketch of the rest of the body, from the arms to the feet
Step 7. Make a sketch for the outline of the bat
Step 8. Sketch the outline of the bat skeleton
Step 9. Draw the actual contours of the rest of the vampire's body, from arms to legs
Step 10. Draw the actual outlines for the bat's large ears
Step 11. Add the actual lines for the bat's snout
The bat should have a proud look. The bat's fangs should be visible on its mouth.
Step 12. Draw two curved lines as the initial sketch for the bat wings
Step 13. Continue drawing the top of the wings
Step 14. Add two thin lines to show off the bat wing structure
Step 15. Continue drawing the bat's webbed wings
Step 16. Draw the structure of the bones to add detail to the wings
Step 17. Draw the bat's body and legs
Step 18. Erase unnecessary lines
Step 19. Fill in the various areas with the base colors
Step 20. Add shadows and highlights
Step 21. Add a creepy background to complete
Make sure the background is a bit blurry to recreate the mood effect. Both figures are suspended in the air, so you won't need to add any more shadows.
