Snapchat records your achievements by unlocking trophies for completing certain achievements. The app does not suggest how to unlock these rewards, but users have found out how to get many of them simply by using the program and its features. Read on to learn how to earn community-known Snapchat trophies.
Steps
Part 1 of 2: Trophy Basics
Step 1. Use the app to earn trophies
These are emojis that are added to the trophy cabinet on your profile. You can earn them by doing some activities on Snapchat, and the more advanced ones take some time. The first time you open your board you will notice that almost all emojis are locked and hidden.
Snapchat trophies are purely aesthetic and have no function within the app. They don't give access to more features or privileges and no one else can see them
Step 2. Check the trophies you own
You can see them from your Snapchat profile screen:
- Press the ghost icon at the top of the camera screen.
- Press the Trophies button at the top of the profile screen.
- Press a trophy to see its details. If a series contains more than one trophy, you will see the locked symbols of the ones you haven't earned yet.
Step 3. Keep checking your dashboard for new trophies
Snapchat periodically adds more trophies to unlock, usually to coincide with the release of a new feature. Open the dashboard after each update.
Part 2 of 2: Earning Trophies
Step 1. Increase your Snapchat score by sending and receiving snaps
One of the main trophy categories is based on your Snapchat score. The actual scoring method is not known, but you will usually get one point for each snap sent and one point per open message. Sending a snap to multiple people only counts for one point. You will unlock the following trophies once you reach a certain score:
- ? - 100
- ? - 500
- ✨ - 1.000
- ? - 10.000
- ? - 50.000
- ? - 100.000

Step 2. Use filters to get trophies
There are many rewards associated with this feature. You can browse the filters after taking a photo by swiping left and right across the screen.
- ? - send a snap with any filter.
- ✌ - use two filters on one snap. You can combine filters with two fingers: with one you press and hold a filter and with the other you swipe across the screen.
- ? - use the Black & White filter on 50 different snaps. You can find it quickly by swiping from right to left four times.
- ❄️ - sends a snap with the temperature filter indicating less than 0 ° C. To use this filter, you need to give Snapchat permission to access your location if you haven't already.
- ? - sends a snap with the temperature that marks more than 38 ° C.
Step 3. Draw on your photos to get trophies
You can earn rewards by drawing on your Snaps with five or more different colors. Press the Pencil button to view the color palette.

Step 5. Earn trophies by taking particular snaps
You can get a lot of rewards by using some of the features at your disposal.
- ? - send 10 snaps with maximum zoom. To zoom in on the image before taking the photo, place two fingers on the screen and spread them apart. Pinch your fingers together again to zoom out.

- ? - sends a snap between 4:00 and 5:00. The recipient does not need to open it during that time to earn the trophy.
- ? - send 10 snaps using front flash. This is not a real "flash", but the application will make the screen completely white right before the shot, illuminating your face. You have to use the front camera and press the "Flash" button in the upper right corner.
- ? - send 50 snaps in night mode. If you are in the dark, you will see the moon button appear at the top of the camera screen. This option allows you to make the shot brighter. The button appears only if the environment is very dark, so move to a fairly dark area.
Step 6. Verify your information to earn trophies
You can get some trophies by checking your Snapchat profile information.

Enter the code contained in the message to verify the number.
Step 7. Take snapshots of other snaps to earn trophies
You can get some rewards by saving screenshots (photos that capture your mobile screen) of the snaps you receive. The user who sent you the image will receive a notification informing them of your shot. Make sure he agrees that you saved a photo of him, as many people view the screenshots as a violation of Snapchat's code of conduct.
- ? - take a snap picture. You can do this by pressing the combination of buttons on your phone that allow you to save a snapshot of the screen. On the iPhone, press and hold the "Power" and "Home" buttons. On Android, the combination varies, but usually you have to hold down "Power" and "Volume Down".
