This article explains how to replace the Google logo visible on the Google.com website with a custom logo. If you have a G Suite account, you can customize G Suite services with your company or organization logo.

Method 1 of 2: Customize the G Suite Logo

Step 1. Visit the G Suite services administration page and log in

If you're the administrator of G Suite services, you can replace the classic Google logo with your name, a company logo, or any image you want. Start by logging in with your administrator account and the corresponding security password.

  • The logo image must have the following maximum dimensions in pixels: 320 x 132. Remember that it must be in-p.webp" />
  • Within the image you can include the words "Powered by Google", but you cannot insert the trademarks "Google", "Gmail" or any other name of services or products related to the Google platform. Likewise, you cannot include the Google logo or any other copyrighted image within your logo.

Step 2. Click on the Company Profile item

When the chosen file name appears on the page, the logo will be ready for upload.

It is located to the right of the name of the file that contains the new logo. The chosen image will be uploaded to Google's servers.

The new changes will be saved and applied. From now on, the logo of your choice will appear at the top of the pages related to G Suite products and services, rather than the classic Google logo.

Method 2 of 2: Change the Logo on the Google Search Page

Step 1. Install the Stylus extension for Firefox or Chrome

It is a free program that allows you to customize the display of web pages on your computer browser. To replace the Google logo with a custom image, you will need to select a new style or theme using the Stylus configuration settings.

  • Chrome:

    visit the Chrome Web Store and search using the keyword "stylus". Click on the button add placed inside the "Stylus" extension box (developed by "stylus.openstyles"), then follow the instructions that will appear on the screen to complete the installation.

  • Firefox:

    visit the Firefox Add-ons site, perform a search with the keyword "stylus", click on the item Stylus which will appear in the list of results (it is characterized by a green and blue icon in the shape of a shield inside which the letter "S" is visible), click on the button Add to Firefox and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Step 2. Upload the logo image you want to use on the web

You can store the new logo online using any clouding service that allows the storage of images and photos, such as Imgur or Dropbox. Once the file has finished uploading, select the corresponding image with the right mouse button and choose the option Copy the address of the image or Copy image path from the context menu that will appear to copy the URL to the computer system clipboard.

  • Make sure the new logo image is in JPG, PNG, or-g.webp" />
  • While there are no file and logo size limitations, an image of approximately 320 x 132 pixels (or smaller) should perfectly fit most styles available on Stylus.

The standard Google page will appear with the classic central logo.

Step 4. Click on the Stylus extension icon

It features a shield showing the letter "S" and is located in the upper right corner of the browser window. A small context menu will appear.

It is located at the top of the appeared menu. The list of available styles will be displayed.

Choose one of the styles that show the Google website as a preview image. The chosen theme will be applied to the Google search engine web page.

  • In this example method the "Super Mario on the Move" theme has been selected which should be one of the first options available to the user.
  • If you know the basics of HTML and CSS, you will be able to customize all the themes offered by the Stylus extension to make them look exactly the way you want.

Step 7. Click again on the Stylus extension icon located in the upper right corner of the browser window

Step 8. Click on the pencil icon next to the name of the style you have chosen

It is located at the top of the menu. The page from which you can customize the chosen theme will be displayed.

Step 9. Locate the line of code that contains the logo file

It is characterized by the full path where the file containing the logo image is stored. The name varies according to the style selected, but it should normally end with the extension ".png" and have the keyword "logo" in it.

If you have chosen to use the "Super Mario on the Move" theme, the logo file is "https://s24.postimg.cc/yotenw01x/googlelogo.png". You can quickly locate where in the code it is displayed by searching for the keyword "hplogo"

Step 10. Replace the current logo URL with the full web address of the image you uploaded to the web in the previous steps

You may need to make the replacement indicated in multiple places in the code.

To paste content that you have copied to the system clipboard, select where to insert it with the right mouse button, then choose the option Paste.

It is located in the upper left corner of the page. Any changes made to the selected style will be saved and applied.

At this point, your chosen custom logo should appear, instead of the classic Google logo.
