Kindle eBooks are provided for a fee through Amazon's Kindle Direct Publishing platform. Those who don't want to or can't pay, however, can find hundreds of free Kindle eBooks on the Internet. Just know where and how to look to get free eBooks of different genres from different sources.
Steps
Method 1 of 6: Find Free Books in the Kindle Store
Step 1. Log into your Amazon account
Go to the website www.amazon.it and log in by hovering the mouse over the word "Accounts and lists" at the top right, clicking on the Login button and entering your e-mail address and password.
Step 2. Enter the Kindle Store
Hover over the word "Choose by category" at the top left, opening a drop-down menu. Go to "Kindle e-readers and eBooks".
A menu will appear on the right; In the "Kindle Store" section of this menu, click on Kindle eBooks. You have arrived in the section of Amazon with all the eBooks
Step 3. Go to "Free eBooks
" Scroll down the page until you find, in the left sidebar, the bold title "More to discover". Click on Free eBooks.
Step 4. Select a category
The page you are on now shows the free books divided by categories. Find the one you are interested in and select it to see other eBooks.

Step 5. Select a book
Click on a title to see its details and reader reviews.
Step 6. Download the book
Just click on Buy now on the right and choose the device to send the file to; alternatively, if you don't have a way to read the eBook, just enter your email address or phone number in the text box next to the Send me link button.
Method 2 of 6: Subscribe to the Amazon RSS Feed
Step 1. Log into your Amazon account
If you want to be informed about the new arrivals of free Kindle eBooks on Amazon, you can subscribe to the platform's RSS Feed. To start, go to www.amazon.it, log in by hovering the mouse over the word "Accounts and lists" at the top right and click on the Login button.
Enter your email address and password, then click the orange button to continue
Step 2. Enter the Kindle Store
Hover over the word "Choose by category" at the top left, opening a drop-down menu. Go to "Kindle e-readers and eBooks".
A menu will appear on the right; In the "Kindle Store" section of this menu, click on Kindle eBooks. You have arrived in the section of Amazon with all the eBooks
Step 3. Select a category
Click on the category you are interested in in the left sidebar and choose the subcategory to see its page.
Step 4. Find the RSS Feed symbol
Towards the bottom of the page you should find "RSS Feed" written in orange. It is located below the list of eBooks available in a specific subcategory.
Step 5. Click on the "Subscribe" link, just below the RSS Feed symbol
Step 6. Subscribe to the RSS Feed
At the top of the page that opens, there is a drop-down menu with the various subscription methods. The default method should be "Live Bookmarks". Choose one to sign up.
- If you want, you can make the method you have chosen the default by checking the box just below the menu.
- Click Subscribe Now at the bottom of the feed pane. You're almost done!
Step 7. Confirm that you want to subscribe in the pop-up window that opens
From now on, you will receive notifications about offers, discounts, free books or other news in the Kindle eBook category you have subscribed to.
Method 3 of 6: Become an Amazon Prime Member
Step 1. Go to www.amazon.it
At the top left, next to the Amazon logo, you should see a link that says "Join Prime".
Step 2. Click on that link to open the sign up page
Click the "Join and use it for free for 30 days" button to become a Prime member.
As a Prime member, you will enjoy various promotions which often also include free eBooks
Step 3. Start the free trial
To start your 30-day free subscription click on "Try Amazon Prime for Free" below, then follow the on-screen instructions.
Remember that you can cancel your Prime membership whenever you want
Step 4. If you want, become a full Prime member
To continue the subscription beyond the 30-day free trial, choose whether to add a new card or use an existing one for payment under "Enter card details" and, under "Enter billing address", choose whether to add a new address or use an already saved one.
Method 4 of 6: Using External Search Engines
Step 1. Visit this website
This site is a free eBook search engine for Kindle.
To find a book, just enter the title in the search box at the top right or scroll through the various pages using the numbers below
Step 2. Use Google to find free Kindle books
If you already have a book in mind, try searching for "ebook for free kindle" or followed by the name of the work or author.
- If you have difficulty, you can try to change or add some keywords; for example, using "free" instead of "free".
- If you don't know what you want to read, you can search for "free kindle eBooks" without specifying any author or title. In the results you will find many sites and blogs that provide you with lists of free eBooks to download.
Method 5 of 6: Using Free Websites
Step 1. Search Many Books
This site offers over 29,000 free eBooks in Kindle format to readers around the world. You can search for the work you are interested in based on the author's name, title, genre and language.
- On the left sidebar you will find a series of links to navigate the site. By clicking on those links you will be able to consult the list of authors, titles, genres and languages.
- In the search box to the left of the Search button, you can type the title of the book or the name of the author. After pressing Enter you will see a list of results.
- You can also use the "New titles", "Recommended", "Popular" and "Downloads" links on the sidebar. If you are looking only for books in Italian, click on "Languages" and choose "Italian".
Step 2. Search the Open Library
This site collects more than 20 million books, many of which are in Kindle format and free.
- Click on one of the categories at the top, under "Browse by subject", to consult a list of books belonging to different genres.
- Type the name of the author or the title of a work you are interested in in the search box at the top right and, among the results, look for the link for the Kindle format.
Step 3. Search the Project Gutenberg site
On this site all the books are free, you just have to look for the right format versions for the books you want to read.
- By clicking one of the two links at the top, "Book category" and "Browse catalog", you can consult the books divided by categories and by author, title and language.
- Visit [this link https://m.gutenberg.org] to find and download Kindle eBooks directly to your device. This section is designed specifically for searching for Kindle books and you can search from "Popular" (most popular), "Latest" (most recent) or "Random" (random).
Step 4. Visit the Pixel of Ink blog
This blog updates you on the latest offers of the month and lightning deals, as well as informing you about the new free eBooks for Kindle.
Method 6 of 6: Find Free eBooks in Other Ways
Step 1. Ask your friends
You can ask your friends for a copy of their Kindle eBooks. This is the easiest way to get free eBooks.
Step 2. Look on Pinterest boards
Many Pinterest users collect and post convenient free eBook lists on their message boards to attract new followers.
- Go to the "Free Kindle Books" section of Pinterest, at [www.pinterest.com/explore/free-Kindle-books this link]. You should see a free Kindle eBook board on the left and "pins" on the right. Click on one of the boards or on the pins to open the corresponding page.
- Click on the "Visit the site" button at the top of the posts to go to the site or blog that offers eBooks for Kindle of different genres. Choose the work you are interested in and download a free copy.
- You can follow a bulletin board for updates on newly released free Kindle eBooks.
Step 3. Search Facebook
You can often find pages or groups that provide you with great lists of free eBooks to download. Go to the Facebook home and log into your account.
Type "Free Kindle books" or "Free Kindle books" in the search box. You should get a list of pages and groups that offer free Kindle eBooks. Enter to consult the collections available to users and download the eBooks that interest you
Advice
- Don't enter your credit card information on sites that offer you free Kindle books. After a period of time, your subscription may become active and you will be charged unwanted amounts.
- Before downloading the eBook, check its format. They exist in different formats, but to read with a Kindle device you have to choose the Kindle format.
- Don't sign up for free eBook offers on sites you don't know. They may in fact use your e-mail address to send you spam.
