Taking the car to clean costs a lot, so why not get some paper towels and a vacuum cleaner to do it yourself? It is easy and rewarding to do.
Steps
Step 1. What you will need:
Vacuum cleaner with hose, extension, rubber hose for water (if the mats are plastic), absorbent paper or rags and glass cleaner.
Step 2. To clean:
Start by emptying the vehicle of personal items, trash and recyclable items.
Step 3. Take the mats and set them aside
Step 4. Vacuum, under seats, around pedals, etc
making sure to pass it through the crevices and all spaces.
Step 5. Shake, tap and vacuum the mats
If the mats are plastic, vacuum if they are dirty, wash them using your rubber water pad and let them dry. Put them back in the car.
Step 6. Use the window cleaner on the dashboard, the inside of the doors, armrests and in any dusty place (REMEMBER:
use it only on plastic, metal, glass and non-porous surfaces … Do not use it on seats!). You can spray the glass cleaner on paper towels or the rag and use it to clean.
Step 7. Remove any encrusted dirt using a paper towel or rag
Step 8. Remove stains and streaks from inside the windows
Step 9. Put the items you removed back into the car before cleaning

Looks like new, right?
Step 11. Finished
Advice
- If you perform this quick procedure often, you will keep your car in good condition easily and in less time.
- If you live in a cold area and don't have a garage, it will be best to do a more thorough cleaning in late winter or spring.
- Plastic mats are an excellent alternative if you live in areas with mud / water / snow. Just remove them, beat them and clean them with the rubber hose for the water.
- EXTENSION NOTE: If you have a vacuum cleaner that does not run on battery, you can use an extension cord to reach the electrical plug. Be careful with electricity.
