The gym is a place where you need to dress properly to avoid injuries, itching or even skin rashes. The most correct clothing is not only the comfortable one, but also the one that makes you look - and feel - in order.
Steps
Step 1. Choose a lightweight t-shirt or sweatshirt
It should be made of a breathable material such as cotton.
Step 2. Put on some common gym cotton shorts
They should be up to a couple of inches long below the knees. They shouldn't be tight at the waist, so the elastic ones are more comfortable. Cotton sweatpants can also be worn if you are ashamed of shorts.
Step 3. If you plan to lift heavy weights, add a weight training belt to your wardrobe to avoid back injuries
Step 4. Choose your shoes according to the type of exercises you will be doing
For example, if you want to do more cardio exercises then it is a good idea to use jogging shoes.
Step 5. Put on cotton socks
They shouldn't be too tight or too loose. Socks that are too tight may slow blood circulation.
Step 6. Always bring a soft towel to wipe away sweat from time to time
This way you won't leave any sweat on chairs or equipment.
Advice
- The shirt and shorts should fit you perfectly; in particular, they should be slightly snug, but not forcing.
- It is important to achieve a slim look without bulges; the aim is to define your shapes, not to crush them into uncomfortable clothes.
