Steps
Method 1 of 3: Trees, Lights and Garlands
Step 1. Place a Christmas tree in your bedroom
They come in all shapes and sizes, but a smaller tree can better fit the proportions of a bedroom. It doesn't have to be true, you can also choose a fake one. It will hardly lose needles and will not be watered.
- If you have a free desk or shelf, decorate it with a paper tree. Home improvement stores often sell Christmas trees between 20 and 30 centimeters in size. You will also find fairy lights and other decorations, always in reduced dimensions.

- If you want to smell the classic pine scent, you may want to hide some real branches among those of the fake tree. You can also use a pine room spray.
Step 2. If you don't have room for a tree, hang pine branches
Hanging them from the ceiling in a corner of the room is ideal for those who don't have a lot of floor space. You can also decorate them with battery operated Christmas lights and other Christmas decorations. However, it is preferable to use plastic ones instead of glass.

Step 3. Decorate the room with pine wreaths
You can also decorate them with battery operated Christmas lights and other themed decorations. Some of the best places to hang them? On the headboard, on the window, around the ceiling and on bookshelves.
Step 4. Decorate the pine tree, branches and garlands
Look for decorations, lights, beaded garlands and more. Hang them on the tree, branches or pine wreaths. In the case of branches and garlands, it is better to use plastic Christmas decorations rather than glass.
- Mini Christmas decorations are preferable to pine wreaths. They can be found in home improvement stores, in the same department that sells other Christmas items.

- To create a mountain cabin feel, replace the bedspread with a warm quilt or knitted blanket. Throws will work too.
- You can easily make a knitted pillow - just slip a square one into a chunky cable sweater and tie the sleeves at the back.

If you can't decorate your room too much, you can still make it more festive with accessories like this. - Collect pine cones and make them more Christmas with acrylic paint or glitter. Display them on the windowsill.
- Thread blueberries and popcorn on a string to make garlands.
- Make paper garlands using colored construction paper.
- Cut out snowflakes from white A4 paper.
- Make a gingerbread house and display it on your dresser or desk.
- Cut out letters from glittery cardstock creating the word "Merry Christmas" and attach them to the wall.

There are many combinations that are reminiscent of Christmas, but not all of them will suit your room. For example, if pink and white are the prevailing colors, red and green might clash. Instead, it is preferable to combine red and white. Here are some ideas to get you started:

Step 2. Choose a theme
Sometimes having a set theme can help you choose decorations, but also make them look more uniform and less chaotic. As with colors, pick one that suits your room. See how they set up the shop windows. If you find one you like, try to imitate it. Take pictures, write your observations or make a quick sketch. You don't have to copy it exactly, but simply take a cue from elements like silver decorations and glitter snowflakes.

Step 4. As you work, you may have music or other background music
If you have a computer, radio, or television in your room, you may want to listen to some Christmas music or a movie. It might inspire you and get you into the right spirit.
