Method 1 of 3: With the Mouth

Step 1. Place the bucket

Place it on a lower surface than the container you want to pour the water from.

Step 2. Prepare the tube

  • Place one end of a plastic tube at the bottom of the container you want to pour the liquid from.
  • Put the other end of the hose into the bucket.

Step 3. Start letting the water flow

Slightly suck from the end of the tube that you inserted into the bucket. Make sure that the end of the tube is at a lower level than the container from which you remove the water.

Attach a second garden hose to the other side of the valve installed on the hose that acts as a siphon.

  • Open the water valve connected to the second hose.
  • Let the tube fill with water.
  • Close the valve that connects the two pipes.
