Using simple hairpins you can have curls with a soft and natural look.
Adjust the strength with which you roll your hair to get more or less tight curls. This method is ideal because unlike a normal electric curling iron it does not damage your hair. Let's begin!
Steps
Step 1. Follow the steps in the article How to Curl Hair
Step 2. Divide the hair into locks and roll them (create a large lock to get a large curl and vice versa) on themselves up to the roots
Step 3. Continue to roll the strand and form a small circle attached to the skin, then secure it with 2 crossed bobby pins
(Note: You won't have to make small buns. Find ways to flatten the rolled lock onto your skin.)
Step 4. Repeat for all hair strands
Eventually your head will be covered with little swirls.
Step 5. Sleep on it
It may be helpful to wear a scarf to prevent the locks from loosening. The next morning, undo the rolled locks and carefully ruffle them with your fingers. (Note: If you are in a hurry it will not be necessary to wait an entire night. Start twisting them when they are still slightly damp and let them dry in the air or with a blast of cold air. It may still take some time, but not a single time. full night.) If you love tight and defined curls, divide your hair into small, thin strands and roll them up tightly. If you prefer large curls, create thicker locks, also reduce the pressure exerted by twisting it for a softer and more natural look.
Advice
- Follow the steps described in the tutorial on slightly damp hair.
- Apply a curl cream to damp hair before you start styling. It will promote the formation of curls and make them last longer.
- If any of the strands become loose, secure them using a few more bobby pins.
- If you have thick hair, use more bobby pins to avoid the risk of the strands unrolling.
Warnings
- Do not remove the pins until the hair is perfectly dry.
- Do not use colored pins, they could stain your hair.
- Try not to move too much or the hairpins will risk falling out.
- Before you ruffle your hair with your fingers, make sure you have removed all the bobby pins.
- Try not to sleep on your back so as not to press your head and hair on the pillow; the hair may pull and tear.
