Steps
Step 1. Look at the drawings of others
By doing so, you can easily get inspired on the subjects to draw and how to do it: many details can only be grasped by observing the multiple facets of a drawing.
Step 2. Be creative
Creativity is one of the most important aspects for an artist. Everyone has the ability to create something, in one form or another. You just have to be patient and reveal your creative side.
Step 3. Do you find yourself in trouble because you don't know what to draw?
Stop searching, it's not that hard to think about what to draw! To do this, you must have an open mind and observe the drawings of others for inspiration, always carry a notebook with you to write down the emotions and ideas that come to you while you are away from home.
Step 4. If you are still in trouble because you can't find anything to draw, let yourself be inspired by nature, which is always a great subject to draw
Step 5. Practice
You'll never go anywhere if you don't keep drawing! Keep trying even if you don't get a satisfactory result the first time, the second or even the third - over time you will succeed.
Step 6. Be ready
It doesn't mean having an entire room and a princess to portray. You have to have the basics. Know what are the results to be achieved; often look at an encouraging image to motivate yourself.
Step 7. Purchase the materials you need
A sketching set, a couple of pencils, an eraser, a sharpener and some paper. If you are a beginner, this is all you will need in the beginning.
Step 8. What can you draw?
Open your heart. What do you really like or adore? Your best friend? Your pet? Your family? Landscapes, such as a forest or a beach, can also be a great idea. If you like Anime, you can try drawing them.
Step 9. Pay attention to the proportions
The most difficult and frustrating part to portray is the aspect ratio. Put everything to scale. For example, a tree trunk can even be smaller than a flower. Or a person's leg larger than the head. You will be able to improve with a lot of practice. Draw from a photo and keep practicing to make the smallest details, even the strands of hair.
Step 10. Make the shadows
Shading is really important. Especially in drawing the eyes of an Anime character. Observe the various techniques on the Internet or imagine how the light can reflect on the subject to be portrayed.
Step 11. Get help
Get help if you're still stuck. Don't throw in the towel. Ask someone for help. A friend, or even a professional, who can give you some useful advice!
Step 12. Look at the finished drawing
Done. It's not that bad. Buy a book or an album to keep it, also adding a date and signature. If you want, you can color it to make it even more realistic.
