The Daedric Armor is an armor made up of 5 parts made of ebony. It is the best heavy armor available in Skyrim. Do you want to upgrade your armor? This guide will take you step by step in collecting the necessary materials (at least 4 Daedra Hearts, 13 ebony ingots, and 9 strips of leather) and in forging the Daedric Armor.
Steps
Method 1 of 3: Collect Daedra Hearts
Step 1. Kill the Daedra of the Shrine of Mehrunes Dagon
Head to the Shrine of Mehrunes Dagon, southeast of Dawnstar, and complete the side quest Mehrunes Dagon's Razor. As soon as it is complete, two Daedra will appear. They will attack you, but don't worry - they are unarmed, so you can easily kill them. Kill them and take their hearts and the shrine key.
If you find it difficult to kill the Daedra, try to run around the altar backwards while throwing arrows or spells at them. You can also use a blade
Step 2. Kill the Daedra inside the Mehrunes Dagon Shrine
Enter the sanctuary, where you will see two more Daedra. Kill them too and take their hearts.
- Daedra inside the shrine are a wizard and another with a two-handed weapon. Kill the wizard first - he is the most dangerous one.
- While in the sanctuary, you can also get some ebony ingots. From the door, look towards the left side of the room. You will see a small chest with ebony ingots inside. Grab them! They will come in handy.
- If you wait a week (in the game) and return to the Shrine of Mehrunes Dagon, the Daedra will be there again. You can take two more hearts each week.
Step 3. Steal a Daedra Heart
You can also steal a heart. Travel to Whiterun and enter Jorrvaskr's Hall of Companions. Go to your right and go down the stairs to enter the lodgings. Walk across the hall and enter the back room, you will see a Daedra Heart above the table on your left.
If your Stealth level is low, wait until all characters in the Hall of Companions are asleep before stealing the heart
Step 4. Buy a Heart of Daedra at Dawnstar Shrine
You must first complete the Dark Brotherhood side mission. Once finished, travel to Dawnstar Shrine and look for a black book with a skull engraved on the cover. Inside you will find a character who will sell you Daedra's hearts.
You must be lucky to use this method. The character doesn't always sell Daedra hearts
Step 5. Buy a Heart of Daedra at the Winterhold Academy
Enter the Hall of Conquest in the center of the Academy of Winterhold. Talk to Enthir and ask him, "What is not allowed here?" As soon as you do, he'll sell you a Daedra Heart.
Please note that this method will no longer be available when you finish the Academy of Winterhold side quest and become Archmage. After that Enthir will no longer sell you hearts
Method 2 of 3: Collect Ebony Bars
Step 1. Buy the ingots from the Belethor Emporium
If you go to Whiterun and enter Belethor's shop, he can sell you some ebony ingots.
Step 2. Buy the bars from the Warmaiden shop
As soon as you leave Belethor's general store, go up the stairs. When you get to the top, go down the flight of stairs to your right. Go north until you see the shop. The man at the counter will sell you ebony ingots.
Step 3. Buy some ebony bars from Adrianne Avenicci
During the day you can find Adrianne Avenicci in front of the Warmaiden shop. She will also sell you ebony ingots.
Step 4. Forge some ebony ingots
If you don't want to buy bars, you can make them. Go to Windhelm and head southeast. Keep walking until you see an orc-controlled fortress. Go ahead in the dialogue and ask the ogre to enter. Once inside the small orc village of Narzulbur, walk east again across the bridge, where you will find the Gloombound Mine. Take a pickaxe and extract the raw ebony, then go out to forge the ingots.
Note that you need two pieces of raw ebony to forge an ingot
Method 3 of 3: Collect the skin strips
Step 1. Buy the leather strips from a blacksmith
Ready-made leather strips are available from blacksmiths. They cost only around three gold coins per piece.
Step 2. Create the leather strips
You can also make the leather strips yourself. Use the tanning stand you find at any blacksmith's home.
Consider that you need a piece of leather to make four strips
Step 3. Once you have all the materials, go to any forge
Once there, scroll down the list of craftable items and choose Daedric Armor.
Advice
- To make better armor, use the potion and Fortify Smithing items, and raise the levels of all pieces to Legendary.
- Items from Daedric Armor that are not enchanted at level 48 will also find dragons from Mirabile to Legendary.
