Have you always dreamed of owning a Crobat while playing Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Omega Ruby, or Alpha Sapphire, but can't find it? The reason is simple, it is not possible to catch a wild Crobat, it also does not level up by gaining experience points like most other Pokémon. However, getting a Crobat specimen is simple with a little patience.
Steps
Step 1. Know that Crobat is the final evolved form of Zubat which occurs by maximizing his "Affection" level
You can get a Crobat specimen by evolving Golbat by bringing his "Affection" level to the maximum. Before you can get a Crobat, you will need to evolve your Zubat into Golbat.

Step 2. Capture a specimen of Zubat or Golbat
You can catch it inside or near different caves that are in the game world or you can get it by trading it with another user. If you caught the Pokémon using a "Chic Ball", it will have a very high starting "Affection" level. In this case it will be much easier to make it evolve into Golbat and then into Crobat. Here are some places where you can meet a specimen of these Pokémon:
- Entrance to the "Grotta dei Tempi";
- "Grotta Pietrosa" (Zubat only);
- Entrance to the "Meteora Falls";
- "Abyssal Cave";
- "Wave cave";
- "Via Vittoria".
Step 3. Evolve Zubat into Golbat if you have captured this Pokémon
As usual, train your Pokémon and have it fight to increase its experience and level it up or leave it in a "Pokémon Day Care". Zubat will automatically evolve into Golbat when he reaches level 22. Once you have a Golbat specimen you will be able to evolve it into Crobat.
Zubat's "Affection" level will be preserved when he evolves into Golbat, so you can start at a high value by catching Zubat using a "Chic Ball" and giving him all the attention he deserves
Step 4. Increase Golbat's "Affection" level to the highest possible value
The level of "Affection", also often called "Happiness", increases when you perform some specific activities with the Pokémon that make up your team. The easiest way to achieve your goal (increasing Golbat's "Affection" level) is to follow these instructions:
- Get him to level up;
- Give them a "Calmanella" that they will have to keep;
- Give him "Vitamins";
- Walk 256 steps with him on your Pokémon team
- Use a "Baccagrana", "Baccalga", "Baccaloquat", "Baccamelon", "Baccauva" and "Baccamodoro".
- Making your Pokémon lose fights or using any type of "Medicinal Herbs" (powders or roots) will cause its "Affection" level to drop.
Step 5. When Golbat's "Affection" level reaches its maximum value, it will automatically evolve into Crobat
