This article explains how to remove a user from your contact list on Telegram using an Android device.
Steps
Step 1. Open Telegram
The icon is a white paper airplane on a blue background. Typically, you can find it on the Home screen or in the application menu.
Step 2. Click on ☰
This button is located in the upper left corner of the screen.
Step 3. Select Contacts
Step 4. Select the contact you want to delete
A conversation with the user in question will open.
Step 5. Tap on the contact's name or photo
It is at the top of the conversation.
Step 6. Tap the ⁝ button
Step 7. Select Delete Contact
A confirmation message will appear.
Step 8. Tap Delete
This user will no longer appear in your contact list.
