This article shows you how to synchronize Outlook.com or Microsoft Outlook for Windows contacts with an iPhone.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Synchronize Outlook.com Contacts
Step 1. Open the "Settings" of the iPhone
This app is located on the main screen.
This method allows you to add Outlook.com contacts (also known as Hotmail.com or Live.com) to your iPhone
Step 2. Scroll down and tap Accounts & Passwords
The icon looks like a white key on a gray background. It is located towards the central part of the menu.
Step 3. Tap Add Account
A list with various account types will appear.
Step 4. Tap Outlook.com
It is the penultimate option.
Step 5. Log into your Outlook account
Enter your email address or phone number, then tap "Next", type your password and tap "Sign in".
Step 6. Tap Yes
The iPhone will then be authorized to access your Outlook data.
Step 7. Select the items you want to sync
Swipe the "Contacts" slider to activate it
then repeat with any other information you want to sync.
Step 8. Tap Save
This button is located at the top right. Outlook contacts will then be synchronized with the iPhone.
Method 2 of 2: Synchronize Microsoft Outlook for Windows Contacts
Step 1. Open the iCloud "Control Panel" on your PC
To do this quickly, type icloud in the search bar at the bottom of the "Start" menu, then click on "iCloud".
- Use this method if you have Microsoft Outlook installed on your computer and use it to manage your contacts.

Step 2. Sign in with your Apple ID
If you are already logged in, skip this step.
Step 3. Put a check mark next to "Mail, contacts, calendars and tasks with Outlook"
In this way, the Outlook data will be added to the other items synchronized with the iPhone.
Step 4. Click Apply
It is located at the bottom of the window. Your Outlook contacts (but also your mail, calendars and tasks) will be synchronized with the iPhone.
