Advice
- Sometimes a photo remains visible even after being deleted, but this is due to the cache not being updated yet. However, if the photo remains visible for a long time, contact the Instagram support center.
- If the photo you want to delete is recent, set the view to "List", so you can immediately see the actions available under the photos. This way you save yourself a couple of clicks.
- Think carefully before deleting a photo; the operation is not reversible.
- Searching becomes easier if the photo you want to delete appeared in the feed recently. In that case, just get there from the feeds.
- If the photo you deleted was shared, the links will continue to work for approximately 4 hours, before they are no longer valid.
- If you are interested in backing up your photos before deleting them, you can do an online search to find out how to do it.
Warnings
- If you want to delete an old photo, the search can take a long time, as you will have to wait for them all to load. For example, if you have 600 photos and you want to delete those taken immediately after your registration to the social network, it will be hard to get there (Instagram shows 16 photos at a time).
- Think carefully before deleting a photo, because the process is not reversible and there is no way to recover it.
