This article shows you how to install an application that allows you to temporarily stop and resume video recording on an iPhone. Read on to find out how.
Steps
Step 1. Download the PauseCam app
You can go to the Apple App Store and search using the keywords "PauseCam".
- Press the buttons in succession Get And Install to download and install the app on the iPhone.
- PauseCam is a free application that can be upgraded to the paid version with more features and higher performance.
Step 2. Press the Open button
Follow the on-screen instructions to authorize the application to access the device's camera and microphone.
Step 3. Press the "Register" button
When you are ready to create your movie press the round button with a small red dot in the middle located at the bottom of the screen.
Step 4. Press the ⏸ button
When you need to temporarily stop recording, press the "Pause" button located at the bottom of the screen.
Step 5. Press the "Register" button
When you are ready to resume recording, press the red button at the bottom of the screen again.
Repeat the "pause-record" sequence of steps whenever you need to stop and resume recording while creating your video
Step 6. Press the ⏸ button
Do this when you have completed recording your movie.
Step 7. Press the ☑️ button
It is located in the upper right corner of the screen. This will start the movie saving procedure.
Tap the ⓧ button in the upper left corner of the screen if you need to delete the video you just recorded
Step 8. Press the share button
It is characterized by a circular icon, inside which there is a curved arrow. It is located in the upper right corner of the screen.
Step 9. Select the video resolution to use
You can choose from the following options: "Original", "High", "Medium" and "Low".
- The free version of the application allows you to save the movie only with a "Low" video resolution and all the movies will be characterized by a watermark at the bottom that shows the words "pausevideo.me."
- You can make "in-app" purchases to unlock a specific function at a cost of € 1.09 for example to save videos with a higher quality or delete the watermark. Alternatively, you can get the full version of the app at a cost of € 2.29.
Step 10. Choose where to save the movie
To store it in the iPhone memory, select the "Save to Photo Album" option and, when prompted, authorize the app to access the device's memory.
- Alternatively, you can share the video via email, Evernote, or other platforms.
- Select the "Other" item to be able to use social network applications or other programs or to send the video via MMS.
