This article explains how to change the recording speed on TikTok using an iPhone or iPad.
Steps
Step 1. Open TikTok on your device
You can find the application on the home screen. Look for the black square that has a white musical note inside it.
Step 2. Tap the + button
It is located at the bottom of the screen.
Step 3. Add a song if you wish
- Tap on Sounds and select a category or search for a song. A list of songs will appear;
- Tap a song thumbnail to preview it;
- Tap Use sound to select the song.
Step 4. Press the button that allows you to control the speed
It is depicted by an odometer.
Step 5. Select a recording speed
The speeds appear at the bottom of the screen, sorted from slowest to fastest: 0.1x, 0.5x, 1x, 2x, 10x.
1x represents normal recording speed and is selected by default.
Step 6. Shoot the video
With the speed selected, tap and hold the record button to shoot the video. Recording will take place at the selected speed.
