Have you ever thought that you are invisible to the eyes of the person you like and you can't get them to notice you? Use these tips to make them aware of your existence.
Steps
Step 1. Get good grades
This is admired by both boys and girls (then, whether they recognize it or not, that's another story). You will feel good, you will be able to earn the respect of adults and your peers, you will guarantee a stable path to go to university and enter the world of work.
Step 2. Treat others politely
Nobody likes people who insult everyone, and that won't make you look cool or popular. This is true specially for male teenagers.
Step 3. Be yourself
With any luck, the person you like will understand that you are wonderful (and if not, they are the one who loses!). Do not follow the crowd, do not be like those who, instead of pursuing what they want, are always held back by shyness and do nothing but adapt to society. Don't fall into this trap!
Step 4. Take reasonable care of your personal hygiene
People will stay away from you if you smell bad, but on the other hand, you don't have to dress up every day either. If you are a girl, overdoing your makeup is just a waste of time. Would guys look at you more? Then they would do it for the wrong reason. In short, try to have a soap and water look. If you are a boy, do not spray too much deodorant: you will make everyone sick, and then your smell will only improve if you wash regularly.
Step 5. Compliment this person and acknowledge their accomplishments
Everyone likes to feel appreciated, but don't give forced compliments. For example, don't say "Nice shoes!" if you really don't like them. People notice if you are honest or not.
Step 6. Smile, especially at the person you like (again, don't overdo it)
Laugh if he makes a joke. He will send her a very specific message: it's fun to be in your company.
Step 7. Talk about more and less
Do not approach this person and tell them about the weather for 20 minutes. If you just can't find ideal topics to break the ice, read a few articles on wikiHow, otherwise consider the following:
- The role he plays in the team he plays for (find out about this first).
- The lessons you are following right now.
- Something that pissed you off (but nothing she might disagree with).
- The homework you need to do at home; you can complain that there are too many.
- The last movie you saw (or maybe one you'd like to see; he might take advantage of it to invite you out together).
- Ask this person if they have ever sailed or tried archery, in short, if they have practiced an unusual activity.
- Ask her if she plays an instrument.
- Ask her what her favorite book, movie, sport or show is. Don't ask her questions in bursts, otherwise it will seem like an interrogation.
- Ask her if she's ever organized a birthday party herself.
- Ask her if she can skateboard.
Step 8. Show interest in his hobbies, but don't change your tastes
If they love an activity that you find silly or insipid, this person may not be for you. Only you can make such a decision.
- If you are a girl, you may want to learn about sports, skateboarding, and so on.
- If you are a boy, you might be reading a famous book series. This way, you will have something in common, but don't waste too much time on it.
Step 9. If she says no, remember that you are still privileged
You probably have most of the things listed on the following list, and over time you should learn to feel grateful (you sure will):
- A house.
- A family that cares about you.
- A computer.
- School education.
- A future career.
- Dreams.
- Hopes.
- Fears you will defeat.
- Food.
- Friends.
- Teachers willing to help you.
- Nice adults and neighbors who love you.
- Toys.
- Clothes.
- Fun adventures.
- Curiosity.
- Last but not least, love. This feeling will always guide you. If you love yourself and the people around you, you will go a long way. Having a girlfriend or a boyfriend? Well, that's just a bonus.

- The reason why girls are silly, immature, rude, obnoxious, beautiful, sexy, annoying and so on. In short, do not bring up any controversial adjectives about the other sex.
- If you really want to get closer to this person, try to get to know some of his friends better. Remember to smile and look others in the eye. Do his friends make you uncomfortable? Invite a couple of your own for support.
