Being a good girl can save you problems, gain you privileges, and make you feel better at school and at home. If you want to impress your family and teachers, follow these tips to become a good girl.
Steps
Method 1 of 4: Part 1: Being Good at Home
Step 1. Help at home
When you see that your parents or siblings need help (carrying packages, doing housework, etc.), propose to help. Open the doors for them, help them carry objects… small things can make a big difference.
Step 2. Learn to do useful things
Learn to cook, do housework and other basic tasks, such as repairing the car, changing a wheel, fixing a leaking tap, etc. Help your parents or anyone with problems.
Step 3. Keep everything in order
Clean your room and whatever you have messed up in the house. If you see that something isn't in its place, even if it wasn't you, you can still help tidy it up. Sweep up, vacuum clean, tidy things up, put dirty clothes to wash, and clean things like windows and mirrors.
Step 4. Do garden work
If you have a garden, there are probably several tasks your parents need to do. Gardening becomes strenuous over the years and takes a long time. Help your family mow the lawn, take care of the plants and remove the weeds.
Step 5. Do the laundry
You can also help the family by washing the laundry. It is a long job and by doing it you will save your parents a lot of stress. You could also get them to pay you something to do it and then tidy up the clean laundry.
Method 2 of 4: Part 2: Being Good at School
Step 1. Be nice to your classmates and your teacher
Be respectful, kind and help everyone. This will make people love you and esteem you more.
Step 2. Get good grades
Study for exams and questions, all assessments are important. Do your homework early and be careful in class. Be participatory and active during the lessons.
Step 3. Do your homework every night
Prepare each evening for the following school day and do it as best you can. This will allow you to improve your grades and make you more disciplined and responsible.
Step 4. Behave with respect in the classroom
Do not talk in class, do not use the phone and do not send text messages, do not chat and do not send text messages. All of these attitudes are disrespectful to whoever is teaching and disturb your peers who are trying to learn.
Step 5. Get help
Learn to ask politely for help if you are having difficulty and respect the advice they give you. This will increase the respect your teachers bring you and help you get better grades.
Method 3 of 4: Part 3: Being a Good Girl to Yourself
Step 1. Be organized
At school, at work or anywhere, give yourself the rule: "a place for everything and everything in its place". Get files, envelopes, diaries, binders and filing cabinets to keep everything in order and in its place.
Step 2. Don't wear excessive makeup
Too much makeup will make you look older and raunchy. Don't wear makeup at all if you don't feel like it, or use a very light, natural makeup. The same concept applies to jewelry / costume jewelery.
Step 3. Stick to sound morals and values
Don't drink, don't smoke, don't take drugs, and don't go to parties that last all night. These actions are not important in the sense that they will not help prepare you for a better future. Rather they will jeopardize it and the same is true of your health. Stay away from it! If your family drinks some alcohol in moderation, ask them for advice on how to drink responsibly.
Step 4. Respect the curfew
Stick to the return time your parents set - such as "always come back before midnight" (usually earlier if there is school the next day).
Step 5. Read, watch and listen to reliable media
Choose good music, interesting books, movies and big TV shows… Watch only shows that are appropriate for your age. You can still listen to music and watch TV, only it will be positive activities! Don't worry, proposals for your age group can be just as fun as those for "adults", they are often even better! Learn to appreciate different musical styles and various types of books.
Avoid books that deal exclusively with sex. Rather, read classics like Jane Austen's novels
Step 6. Sleep at the right time
Rest sufficient hours and at regular times. Being well rested makes it easier to behave politely around people.
Method 4 of 4: Part 4: Being Good to Others
Step 1. Behave in a friendly way
Always be nice to friends and family. Don't talk behind your back. You smile! It costs nothing and can bring some light into the day of the people you hang out with.
Step 2. Maintain a polite attitude
Kindness is an integral part of being a good person. Adults will respect you more if you use phrases like "please", "thank you" and "I wish". Let the elders walk past you. Read yourself a book on good manners or ask someone who can behave elegantly for advice.
Step 3. Stay calm
Even if someone makes you angry, don't let that show through. Tell him he disrespected you but didn't scream. If you just can't keep your cool, leave and come back later when you have been able to calm down.
Step 4. Behave with respect
Each person has different ideas and experiences and is entitled to think differently from you. Let others talk without interrupting and if someone says something you disagree with, don't say it's silly or stupid. Respecting also means treating everyone equally, whether you like them or not!
Step 5. Be honest
Don't say things you don't think, like complimenting someone you don't like. You shouldn't even talk behind your back. Generally, don't speak ill of others. As a refrain says "if you have nothing positive to say, say nothing".
