If you are looking for a unique gift for someone special, you can opt for an edible composition made with fresh fruit. Fruit bouquets are perfect gifts for birthdays, anniversaries and are very romantic Valentine's Day gifts.
Steps
Step 1. Design the composition as if it were a bouquet
You can do it very simple, for example with chocolate covered strawberries that can make the composition splendid or make combinations of various fruits cut into different shapes. This way your bouquet will be more complex. Think about the bouquet theme, what colors to use and its size.
Step 2. Based on the size and theme of your fruit arrangement, choose a container, vase or basket
Wash and dry the container.
Step 3. Put some flower foam, play dough, or a head of lettuce in the bottom of the container
If you use flower foam, wrap it in foil or cling film to keep it out of contact with food and cover it with lettuce leaves to hide it.
Step 4. After you have decided which fruit to use for the composition, wash it and leave it to dry on a piece of absorbent paper
Step 5. Prepare skewers of different lengths that you will need to build the fruit composition
You will place each piece of fruit on a different skewer (apart from the grapes and cubes of pineapple or melon).
Step 6. Slice the pineapple, melon or watermelon into slices about 1.5 cm thick and make butterflies, hearts or flowers with the help of cookie cutters
Step 7. Cut the melon in half, and remove the seeds with a spoon
Get melon balls with a special digger.

If you have suitable carving tools you can create beautiful shapes with fruit.
Step 8. Add some strawberries to your edible composition
Strawberries always give that extra touch of color. You can also make them more appetizing by coating them in chocolate. For greater effect, combine dark chocolate with white chocolate. Use your imagination to get the best result.
Step 9. Place each piece of fruit on the skewers
For the grapes, stick it on the spit and alternate the colors (black and white) to get a more beautiful result.
Step 10. Insert the fruit skewers into the foam inside the container
Tilt the sticks as you place them in the foam, and cut them short if needed. Don't be afraid to put yours in, improvise, there are no rules.
Step 11. When your fruit bouquet is ready, cover it with clear plastic and put the composition in the fridge until it's time to give it away
Advice
- Use mini marshmallows or gummy candies to hold the pineapple blossoms on the skewers. Soak the apple slices in water and lemon juice to prevent them from blackening. Make sure the fruit is dry before dipping it in melted chocolate. You can use kale leaves or a similar vegetable to hide the lettuce head.
- Dip the pieces of apple or pear in a small container where you have put some lemon or pineapple juice to prevent the fruit from blackening.
