In theory, all women should be happy and feel confident in their own skin. Unfortunately, however, many are not. If in particular it is your breasts that are creating complexes for you and you want to look bigger and firmer, read this article; you will find tips on how to do it without plastic surgery, hormones or unlikely pills.
Steps
Part 1 of 4: Changing Posture and Exercising
Step 1. Find out if your posture makes your breasts look bigger or not
Try the mirror test. Looking sideways, see if you can draw a straight line from the earlobe to the ankle, passing through the shoulder, hip and knee. By managing to create this line, the posture will help you to give an illusion of bigger and firmer breasts. Plus, it will make you look slimmer and taller.
Step 2. Make a commitment to maintain good posture at all times
It is undoubtedly the least expensive and fastest way to make breasts look bigger. Do the mirror exercise several times a day to correct posture. It is important to encourage "muscle memory", so that you can stay straight unconsciously and naturally, without fatigue.
Step 3. Train your high pecs (working low ones will actually decrease breast size)
Increasing the muscle volume of the breasts will make them appear firmer and rounder. Doing pushups regularly is one of the best ways to do this. Start slowly, until you can do 15 at once and do three repetitions. There are also many weight lifting exercises that you can try for this purpose.
Step 4. Focus on the central part of the body
Slimming and shaping the belly (focusing on the muscles around the waist and ribs) are two actions that will make your breasts look bigger, without actually having to enlarge this area. Try yoga and Pilates exercises, which can help you burn calories and strengthen your core muscles at the same time.
Remember that losing weight can make your breasts look smaller. So, the idea is to tone your waist, not necessarily lose weight
Part 2 of 4: Wear the Right Bras
Step 1. Put on the right bra size
Most women are wearing the wrong size because they have never measured their breasts correctly. The right bra should fit snugly against your breasts, supporting them carefully and making your posture easier. Measure yourself, otherwise go to a lingerie store that offers this service. Don't feel embarrassed while doing this: the employees who look after them are professional and are also hired for their pleasant and kind attitude. Among other things, they see so many breasts a day that now they do the job naturally.
- A bra that is too large will create drafts under the clothes.
- The same goes for the things you use to fill your bra. Avoid it - the end result will be anything but natural. If you really want to insert something into the bra, try another method (read on to learn more).
Step 2. Learn how to wear a bra correctly
After taking the right measurements, make sure you are wearing it well to properly lift your breasts and have maximum comfort. Let the straps slide over your arms facing forward so that the hooks are on your back. Lean forward to make all the skin fit the underwear and then rest the cups on your breasts. Still while bent over, find the hooks and fasten your bra. If necessary, adjust the headband and straps.
Step 3. Wear bras that flatter your chest
There are several types on the market, so the best way to find the one that gives you the desired effect is to go out and try different models. The following types are ideal for women who want larger breasts:
- Push-ups are designed to pull the chest up (as the name suggests) and bring the breasts closer together, creating a fuller cleavage. They push the breasts upward by means of padding, which is usually made of a foamy material. The most famous brand of these items is Wonderbra. Anyway, most lingerie stores sell them.
- Just like push-ups, padded bras have cups made of a foamy material. They are meant to make small breasts appear fuller, but do not lift them to create a fuller cleavage.
- Padded bras made from gel, air or water are the same as those mentioned above, but are meant to give a more natural look and movement, greatly enlarging the chest. The only downside is that they are often more expensive. Also, with regard to air bras, the padding often needs to be replaced because leaks occur.
- Many women find silicone pads to place in the bra helpful.
Part 3 of 4: Wear Clothes that Accentuate the Size of the Breast
Step 1. Wear dresses with a richly detailed neckline
The lace, the flounces, the jewels, the gathers, the pleats and the ruffles are some of the details that make the breasts look bigger. They give the illusion that the area is more voluminous and prosperous. When wearing flounces, make sure they aren't big enough to overwhelm your breast size, otherwise you risk going the other way and making it look smaller.
- Stay away from the V-neck or plunging neckline, as it gives the impression that your breasts are smaller. Instead, wear high-neck, crew-neck, asymmetrical or gathered neckline tops. They are the ones that value women with small breasts the most, since they favor their shape and make them look bigger.
- Avoid wearing clothes that are too tight. Obviously, these garments reveal everything, so they understand what's there and what's missing. Tops and layers of loose, airy dresses are preferable if you don't want to draw attention to small breasts.
Step 2. Use patterns and colors to your advantage
They can help you resize your body proportions. Generally, light colors make something look bigger, while darker colors slim down:
- If you wear geometries or light / bright colors, then use them for the torso, not the lower body. Wear soft colors in the upper area to make your body look more proportionate.
- Wear dark pants and a horizontal striped top to make your hips appear narrower and, in contrast, your breasts. The shirt should be clear.
Step 3. As a last resort, use makeup to give the impression that you have bigger breasts
Apply a darker foundation than you usually wear where you want to create a shadow. You will give the impression that the neckline is more voluminous. However, this trick is not recommended for everyday use; smudges could be created, resulting in a patently fake look. Instead, for photos or on special occasions, it can be worth it. Don't overdo it - you would feel uncomfortable if someone realized that you have made up this area.
Part 4 of 4: Appreciate Yourself
Step 1. Accept the reality of the facts
Having a poor first is not a disaster. For starters, not everyone likes big breasts. In fact, it's not at all true that every single man feels attracted to busty women - everyone has their own tastes. Also, small breasts tend not to sag over the years. The force of gravity is therefore much kinder to women who are not particularly curvy. You may have always envied your sister's fourth course, but remember that her breasts won't be very toned in a few years, yours probably will. Try to be satisfied with what you have, the important thing is to be in good health.
Step 2. If you are a teenager, your breasts may continue to grow naturally
Now it seems impossible to you, but it is not said.
- Many 16-year-olds think their breasts will always be tiny, only to find they were wrong a few years later. It happens.
- After pregnancy and breastfeeding, the breasts may acquire more volume and retain it. In any case, anything can happen: for some women it decreases, for others it grows after getting smaller.
Advice
- After putting on the bra straps, lift one breast with your hand to rest it against the cup. The chest looks bigger and firmer if the bra hugs the skin tissue properly.
- Make sure the bra straps fit snugly against your body and don't fall out. The more you pull them up, the taller your breasts will seem.
- Do not forget that the breasts continue to grow until the age of 20. So, if you are still small, you can estimate how much it will increase by comparing the size of the breasts of other women in the family. Also, while there is no ideal bra size, losing weight can make the area look more proportionate than the rest of the body.
- If you are under the age of 18, remember that development is not over yet. Wait until you are fully formed before you are absolutely sure you are wearing the first one.
- Don't try to wear a bra that is too big for you. It will wrinkle in on itself or make your breasts look saggy.
- Wearing two bras can visibly and instantly make your breasts look bigger. However, be careful: the result can be unnatural.
- If you wear tight clothing (skinny jeans, tight tops), your breasts will look bigger. In combination, put on a push-up or bra that is a little tighter than usual.
- Massage firming creams and oils to keep it toned all the time.
- Try different types of sizes until you find the one that's right for you. You could also go to a specialized underwear store to measure your breasts.
- Playing with or squeezing your breasts has no effect on growth. You certainly can't change genetics that way.
- For bigger breasts, practice your high pecs with push-ups. To stay healthy in general, eat fruit and vegetables and drink lots of water every day. Also, consume whole milk and foods like butter and cheese. If you put on a few pounds, your chest will naturally seem bigger.
- If you have a nice chest (without pimples and other imperfections), enhance it with a push-up and sit up straight, chest out. Don't overdo it, because otherwise people will think your posture is unnatural.
- If you lose weight, you risk losing volume in the breast area.
- Line the bra with toilet paper or handkerchiefs. It's an old trick, much cheaper than padded bras.
- To have your breasts measured, go to a reputable shop. Some have a small assortment of sizes and the saleswoman may convince you that one is right for you to sell. If you don't feel comfortable when you try it, then trust your instincts.
- Remember that there is no absolute ideal of beauty. You don't have to have a certain body type or bra size, because every woman is beautiful in her own way.
