Do you want to have a nice mustache, but don't have time to grow it? Here's a quick way to make fake ones.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Make a Fake Mustache
Step 1. Cut out the material to make the fake mustache in the shape and size of your choice
Materials with which a fake mustache can be made include: wadding, cardstock, paper, cardboard or foam rubber
Step 2. Spray paint the material you are making your fake mustache with in the color of your choice
Suitable colors include brown, black and ginger-red.
Step 3. Let the paint dry for as long as it takes on its package
Usually it won't take more than 5-6 hours (you can let it dry overnight).
Step 4. Apply a small amount of makeup glue directly over the affected area of the body, usually on the upper lip
Don't use too much, or it will be difficult to remove later (and probably painful).
Step 5. Hold your fake mustache over your upper lip for about a minute
It should be long enough for the whiskers to stick together.
Step 6. Once you are done wearing your fake mustache, remove it
Apply makeup remover to the affected area and gently remove them.
Method 2 of 2: Fake Mustache with Pipe Cleaners
Step 1. Choose two new pipe cleaners
It will be better to use two of the same color, but two different colors will also work.
Step 2. Fold a pipe cleaner into a mustache shape
Use the other brush to create the other mustache.
Step 3. Use hot glue to join the two halves
You could also twist the two ends together, creating the middle part of the mustache.
Step 4. Apply and remove your mustache as shown in the previous method
Advice
- You may need someone's help to apply the mustache.
- Look in the mirror after putting on your mustache. Fake mustaches can look downright ridiculous if you're not careful.

- Don't apply make-up glue to your hair.
- Keep away from babies and children. There may be a danger of suffocation.
