If you want to enlarge your breasts without surgery or other invasive methods, know that you are not alone. Many women nowadays adopt natural methods to have larger breasts without putting their health at risk. While the results are less noticeable than with implants, there are several things you can do to increase your breasts naturally. However, it is important to remember that some of these solutions are not supported by scientific studies and the results are not guaranteed even with scientifically verified methods. In any case, it doesn't hurt to try! Read on to learn more.
Steps
Method 1 of 4: Aesthetic Tricks
Step 1. Maintain good posture
Some women find their breasts appear smaller than they actually are due to a slouched, hunched posture. To immediately enhance your curves, all you have to do is straighten yourself! Stand up straight, with your head held high and with your shoulders straight. Keep your neck in a natural position, without hunching it forward. Proceed with your chest slightly out, maintaining this posture. Now, look in the mirror. You will be surprised at the noticeable difference that small tricks can make!
Step 2. Wear clothing that has decorative inserts on the chest
An often underestimated method of making breasts appear larger is to use clothes that enhance curves. For example, any type of puffed, ruffled or ruffled blouse can give the illusion that the breasts are more abundant. The same effect is achieved with a strategically wrapped scarf.
Even fabrics with horizontal stripes are perfect for enhancing the curves of the bust. While overweight people shy away from this kind of fantasy, women who would like bigger breasts should wear clothing with patterns that deceive the eye more often
Step 3. Choose the right bra size
A bra that is too tight or too loose would make your breasts appear smaller than they actually are. Plus, it would be extremely uncomfortable! Theoretically, a bra should support and lift the breasts, without flattening them or leaving them hanging. If you feel you are wearing the wrong size, ask for advice at a lingerie store. Many women don't realize they are wearing an inappropriate bra, but when they find the right size they feel (and look) much better.
Step 4. Use a padded bra or push-up
A bra with padded cups can make breasts appear more voluminous and firmer. On the other hand, push-ups lift it more, making it appear bigger and fuller. They are an effective and quick solution if you have to wear one of those dresses that fit better with larger breasts.
While some recommend it, it's generally a bad idea to wear multiple bras simultaneously, regardless of the model. This trick can make breasts appear larger if done correctly, but it is definitely very uncomfortable and you will waste a lot of time settling down throughout the day
Step 5. Avoid thin or tight bras
If your breast size is an issue, don't wear them thin or lace. On underwear store mannequins they look great, but on real women they tend to flatten curves. These models do not offer much support or padding, which makes the breasts even smaller. Instead, choose a padded or push-up bra to enhance your décolleté.
Don't wear very tight bras like sports bras (unless you're working out), as they have a tendency to flatten your chest instead of accentuating it. They are certainly great if you want to train without problems, but certainly less suitable if your goal is to look more curvy
Step 6. Do not stuff the bra
This middle school trick makes your breasts look bigger, but it should be used as a last resort. Using paper handkerchiefs or tissue to artificially add volume to your breasts is a rather inconvenient solution, especially if this extra material makes you sweat or irritates your skin. The padding may shift, giving the breasts an unnatural shape or with strange lumps. Furthermore, there is always the possibility, despite your best efforts to avoid it, that the added material will fall or slip into the upper chest and become visible. For all these reasons, avoid stuffing your bra unless you have no other choice.
Method 2 of 4: Unverified Natural Treatments
Step 1. Carefully consider using herbs to increase breast size
On the market (online and in herbalists) there is a wide range of natural products that claim to be able to significantly develop the volume of the breast. While some women are quick to swear by the efficacy of such products, there is no scientific evidence to support them and traditional "Western" medicine views them with skepticism. Also, some herbs could cause serious complications in people taking certain medicines (especially anticoagulants). The best thing to do is to discuss any herbal therapy with your doctor before starting to take supplements. Some products that are believed to be effective for giving breast tone and volume are:
- Serenoa repens;
- Fennel;
- Kava;
- Dioscorea (dioscorea villosa), also known as wild yam or wild yam;
- Chasteberry berries;
- Black cohosh (black cohosh);
- Fenugreek;
- Pueraria Mirifica.
Step 2. Try natural oils and creams
In addition to herbal supplements, there are also products to be applied topically, such as lotions, oils and creams. Just like with herbs, scientific evidence is scant (or nonexistent) as to their effectiveness, although there are a number of women who appear to have used them successfully. Before attempting these methods, contact your healthcare provider to evaluate with him the most effective and verified product based on your expectations.
Remember that some hormone-based medications, such as estrogen, also exist in the form of a cream. With sufficient dosage, these medicines are recognized as effective for breast augmentation. Be very careful not to confuse these hormone creams (which have side effects) with natural ones
Step 3. Try the massage
Some believe that a breast massage, performed with the correct technique, is able to slightly increase its size. Sometimes it is also recommended to use oils, creams or tools to promote this enlargement. Although a massage can make you feel good, relax, improve your mood and posture, however, know that there is no strong evidence that the massage correlates to a more voluminous breasts.
Given the fact that a massage is relatively safe and inexpensive (unless you need to purchase a massage tool at some health food store), it's still worth a try. As mentioned earlier, a massage still makes you feel good, relaxed and in a good mood
Method 3 of 4: Diet and Exercise
Step 1. Work on the pectoral muscles
Weight training is not only a great way to improve muscle strength, mood and overall health, it is also an extremely effective way to increase breast size! Specifically, working on the pectorals (the muscles that are located in correspondence with the breasts) with regular strength training can be useful to increase their size, strength and vigor. Here are two simple exercises you could try:
- Chest press: Lie flat on your back, with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor. In each hand you must have a dumbbell. Start with your elbows bent at 90 degrees; use your pecs to lift the weights up, so that they touch each other. Lower the weights, slowly returning to the starting position in one smooth motion. Do 3 sets of 12-15 repetitions 3-5 times a week.
- Push-ups: Get on the floor on your hands and knees. Stretch your legs back and keep your balance on your toes. Bend your arms to lower your body to the ground. Using the pectoral and arm muscles, return to the starting position. Keep your back straight and hips raised to keep your body in a straight line. If the exercise is too strenuous, lean on your knees instead of your feet. Do 3 sets of 12-15 reps 3-5 times a week.
Step 2. Also focus on the back and shoulder muscles
Of course, you don't have to work only your bibs. In general, strength training should target all major muscle groups with regular weekly exercises to make the whole body stronger and avoid the risk of injury. In addition, a complete workout also has great benefits to the pectorals: for example, by strengthening the shoulders and back muscles, the chest will feel more toned and it will be easier for you to maintain an upright posture, which will make your breasts appear larger and more rounded. Start working your shoulder and back muscles with the following exercises:
- Y Raise: Begin by standing upright, with your feet at your shoulders. Hold a dumbbell in each hand to place in front of your thighs. In a smooth, controlled motion, raise the dumbbells in front of you, keeping your arms slightly extended outward, as if you want to form a "Y". Keep your abs tight and upright as you perform the exercise. Complete the movement by slowly returning the weights to their starting position. Do 3 sets of 15-20 reps 3-5 times a week.
- Renegade Row: Holding a dumbbell in each hand, get into the push-up position with straight arms. Making sure to keep your hips steady, lift a dumbbell off the floor to bring it to your chest, keeping your elbow close to your body. Return the dumbbell to the floor and repeat the exercise with the other arm. Do 3 sets of 12-15 repetitions 3-5 times a week.
Step 3. Don't be afraid of getting too sturdy
Strength training doesn't make women big, overly muscled and unattractive, it's just an urban legend. In fact, it is almost impossible for a woman to gain massive muscle without professional body builder training and the use of steroids. Women don't produce as large amounts of testosterone as men, which makes it much harder for them to put in a lot of muscle mass naturally. Although women can gain greater strength and tone, they typically have to stick to rigorous professional workouts (or use steroids) to gain muscle that vaguely resembles male.
Step 4. If you are thin, consider gaining weight
The breast is mainly made up of fatty connective tissue. As a result, it too tends to thin when a woman loses weight. If you are rather thin and have small breasts, gaining a few pounds can help make your breasts more plump. In any case, you must avoid binges to gain weight, because there are numerous negative effects of rapid weight gain and obesity. It is best to increase your calorie intake moderately for a week or two, then evaluate the results. If you're not happy with the changes you see, go back to your usual diet.
- However, it is important to remember that not all women gain weight equally. Some tend to bulge around the belly and thighs before the breasts get bigger.
- It is essential to follow a healthy diet even when trying to gain weight. So, increase your intake of lean proteins, healthy fats, and complex carbohydrates, rather than throwing yourself headlong into foods high in fat and sugar. Also, remember to keep yourself moving; you should do at least 2 hours and 30 minutes of aerobic exercise per week, combined with at least two strength training sessions.
Step 5. Don't believe in the possibility of localized weight loss
Unfortunately, it is a widespread belief that it is possible to burn fat in certain areas of the body with targeted exercises. In reality, localized weight loss does not exist. The body gets fat or slims in its entirety, you cannot work only on certain areas. This concept has been disproved several times by scientific research, so if you want to get bigger breasts, don't waste time trying to thin other parts of the body. That will not work!
While it is not possible to gain or lose fat in specific areas of the body, you can gain muscle mass in predetermined areas with strength training. However, remember that most people benefit from a greater aesthetic advantage (and risk fewer injuries) when following a diverse and balanced training program
Method 4 of 4: Pharmacological Treatment
Step 1. The contraceptive pill can increase the size of the breasts
For women who do not wish to become pregnant and at the same time want fuller breasts, the pill may be the answer, as a more shapely chest is one of the "side effects" of hormonal contraceptives. Most of these drugs contain the female sex hormone, estrogen, which causes a slight increase in the volume of the chest. However, you shouldn't for no reason take oral contraceptives only to have large breasts, as they are still strong drugs with potential negative effects (although rare). Since not all contraceptive pills contain estrogen, and given the fact that those that contain estrogen can lead to a wide range of other effects on the body, it is essential to always discuss the pros and cons of these drugs with your gynecologist. Here are some side effects:
- Mood swings;
- Nausea;
- Headache;
- Reduction of libido;
- Weight gain
- Irregular vaginal bleeding (spotting).
- Remember that not all women experience an increase in the volume of their breasts by taking the contraceptive pill and that any enlargement is still minimal.
Step 2. Consider estrogen therapy
Estrogen, a female hormone produced naturally by the body, can be prescribed by a doctor for various health-related reasons. For example, estrogen therapy is often recommended for middle-aged women to relieve menopausal ailments. One of the side effects of estrogen is mild breast enlargement. However, you shouldn't never taking estrogen only to get bigger breasts. Supplementing the natural production of these hormones with artificial substances can have several side effects, but it can also increase the risk of health problems in the long run; for this reason, you should only consider taking estrogen therapy if your doctor prescribes it for other health reasons. Here are some side effects:
- Headache;
- Nausea;
- Weight gain
- Vaginal discharge
- Breast swelling
- Slightly increased risk of breast, ovarian and endometrial cancer
- Slightly increased risk of stroke and thrombosis.
Step 3. Learn about progestogen therapy
Progesterone is another natural female hormone that is prescribed for various reasons. Gynecologists often recommend it to women who are taking estrogen to reduce the development of uterine fibroids. Just like estrogen therapy, progestogen therapy also includes a slight increase in breast size among the various side effects. However, it is a powerful drug that it must never be hired with the sole purpose of bigger breasts. Consider this solution only if your doctor deems progestin therapy appropriate to solve other health problems. Adverse effects include:
- Acne or hirsutism;
- Cough;
- Body weight fluctuations;
- Joint pain
- Vaginal irritation;
- Symptoms similar to those that develop with estrogen therapy (including the increased chances of developing some cancers and serious diseases);
- Depression (rarely).
Step 4. Learn about SSRI antidepressants (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors)
These are common antidepressants which, among the side effects, can cause moderate breast augmentation. While SSRIs are relatively safe and uncomplicated compared to other types of antidepressants, it is not recommended to take them without a medical reason, so only consider this option if your doctor recommends it. Don't hire never antidepressants only to increase breast size. Side effects include:
- Nausea;
- Reduction of libido;
- Headache;
- Insomnia;
- Dry mouth
- Weight gain
- Drowsiness.
Warnings
- Although herbs are natural, overuse can cause harmful effects on the body. Talk to your doctor before taking a herbal supplement for breast enhancement.
- Hormonal contraceptives do not protect against sexually transmitted diseases. If you are on the pill, you should still use a condom, unless you are in a monogamous relationship with a partner who has recently taken exams.
