When you get itchy somewhere, the temptation to scratch is enormous! Learn how to keep it under control!
Steps
Step 1. Find the exact spot where the irritation is
Step 2. Leave the irritated area without clothing, as these irritate it even more
Step 3. When you feel the need to scratch, put ice or cold water on the irritated area
Step 4. Dry the area trying not to rub with a clean towel
Step 5. If you still feel the need to scratch, don't think about it
Do something else that involves movement: sports, a dance or whatever.
Step 6. If the urge to scratch is overwhelming, do it very gently
It will be enough just to touch the area, since most of the irritations will go away with the simple reset of the stimulus of the affected tissue.
Step 7. Finished
