Eye fatigue can be caused by a headache, irritation, or fatigue. These symptoms are never present in the morning, but occur throughout the day when you read too much, concentrate on the computer, or look at small objects while straining your eyes.
Steps
Step 1. Relax your eye muscles by closing them for a while
Step 2. Roll or blink your eyes, close them tightly for a few seconds
Step 3. Change where you focus every 15-30 minutes
Look in another direction, or across the street, or take your eyes off the computer and get up for a drink.
Step 4. Use eye drops to lubricate your eyes if they feel dry after reading, sewing, or working on the computer for a long time
Step 5. Instead of eye drops, consume more omega 3, 6, and 9 in your diet and drink more water throughout the day
The eye drops are made of water, mucus and fat so drinking more water and consuming more omega fats will lubricate your eyes better.
Step 6. Make sure you go outdoors in daylight a couple of times throughout the day
Step 7. Do eye exercises in which you squint and stretch
Move your eyes to the side as much as possible, up and down. You can do these exercises with your eyes closed or open.
