This psychedelic and rainbow colored cake is perfect for many occasions, first of all, a child's birthday. In addition to being beautiful to look at, it is also excellent to eat. Follow the instructions, you will get a cake for 6 - 8 people.
Ingrediants
- 1 Pack of cake mix
- 6 Food coloring in gels of different colors
- 355 ml of Gassosa (type 7up or Sprite)
Steps
Step 1. Pour the cake mix into a bowl
Add the soda and mix the two ingredients to obtain a homogeneous mixture. (If you see some foam at first, don't be scared and keep mixing).
Step 2. Do not follow the instructions on the cake mix package
The important thing is to use the mixture and follow the steps carefully.
Step 3. Divide the mixture into 6 bowls
In the first bowl, pour most of the batter and then decrease the quantities as you fill the other bowls. Bowl number 6 should only contain a small amount of batter.
Step 4. Choose the colors
Pour some color into bowl number 1. Change color and do the same with all the other bowls. Blend the batters to even out the ingredients.
Step 5. Take a baking sheet and pour half the contents of bowl number 1 into the center
Don't worry if it gets scattered.
Step 6. Pour half of the contents of bowl number 2 directly onto the batter you poured earlier, right in the center
Continue the process with all the other bowls. After pouring the contents of bowl number 6 you will see that the batter will take the shape of the pan covering it completely.
Step 7. Take another baking sheet and repeat the operation
This time, however, reverse the order of the colors. The end result will be visually very creative and each slice will look fabulous.
Step 8. Bake the cake in the oven at 180ºC for about 15 - 20 minutes
Step 9. Insert a toothpick in the center of the cake to check the doneness
If it comes out clean, the cake is ready!
Step 10. Take it out of the oven and let it cool
Step 11. Serve
Glaze your cake if you wish, but know that it is not necessary as it will already have a unique look.
