Steps
Method 1 of 3: Peanut Butter Glaze
Step 1. Beat 120 grams of softened butter and 1 cup of peanut butter in a large bowl with an electric hand mixer
Beat until smooth.
This procedure should take about 2 minutes
Step 2. Gradually add 2 cups of powdered sugar
You should add it while beating the butter, with the mixer set to a low speed.
- This process should only take 3-5 minutes.
- To gradually add the icing sugar, hold the package over the bowl and pat it slowly, dropping a small amount of powder at a time.
Step 3. Perfect the consistency of the glaze
Add about 2-3 tablespoons of milk or cream (just enough), depending on the density you want to achieve.
The more milk or cream you add, the more diluted the icing will be, and vice versa
Method 2 of 3: Peanut Butter and Cream Glaze
Step 1. Mix 1 package of softened cream cheese and ½ cup of peanut butter in a large bowl with an electric hand mixer
Stir until you get a homogeneous mixture.
The procedure should take about 2-3 minutes
Step 2. Add 3-3½ cups of powdered sugar
Pour in gradually, making sure each dose blends well with the rest of the mixture before moving on to the next.
The procedure should take approximately 3-5 minutes
Step 3. Add the vanilla
Mix the icing sugar well, add 1 teaspoon of vanilla. It will mix quite quickly with the other ingredients, it only takes about 30 seconds.
Add the vanilla while the mixer is running so that it continues to blend the ingredients
Step 4. Stir until desired consistency is obtained
At this point, add 2 tablespoons of milk or cream to change the consistency of the icing to your liking.
If you prefer a lean option, you can try skim milk or low-fat cream, but remember to use light cream cheese as well
Method 3 of 3: Peanut Butter and Chocolate Glaze
Step 1. In a medium bowl, whisk ½ cup of peanut butter, 2 tablespoons of softened butter and a pinch of salt
Use an electric mixer. Stir until you get a light and homogeneous mixture.
This process shouldn't take more than 2 minutes
Step 2. Add the wet ingredients, ie 1 teaspoon of vanilla and 3 tablespoons of milk
Stir until you get a homogeneous mixture.
Step 3. Add the dry ingredients
After mixing the vanilla and milk mixture, gradually add 1 ½ cups of powdered sugar and 60 grams of cocoa powder, setting the electric mixer on low speed.
Dry ingredients may move to the edges of the bowl, so bring them back to the center of the bowl with a rubber spatula so they can blend well with the rest of the mixture
Step 4. Add milk to achieve desired consistency
Pour 3-4 tablespoons of milk into the mixture. If necessary, add more to get the result you want.
Step 5. Done
