In today's society, cash is becoming more and more obsolete because it is often replaced by a debit card, often called an ATM: a card that gives you access to a source of money, usually a pre-loaded checking or credit account. Steps
Step 1. Ask your bank for a debit card that is linked to your checking account
If you already have an account open, it will probably just be a question of filling out some forms to get this card and, since they have already verified your details, it will only be a question of filling out a request: after checking your history with them, they will decide whether to accept it.. The card will arrive directly at your home with the information regarding the pin code which could be temporary or permanent, depending on the bank. Once you have received it, activate it by following the instructions that were sent to you with it.
Step 2. Open a checking account and ask for a debit card
If you don't already have a bank account, find the one that's right for you and open it. Many banks give the opportunity to do everything online. Fill out the forms and request the debit card linked to your new account. After investigating your financial history, the bank will decide whether or not to approve your request.
Step 3. Buy a prepaid card
In addition to being able to request it in any bank, there are some prepaid cards that can be purchased at the post office or from the tobacconist. They work like debit cards but are not linked to a checking account and the money is manageable only through the card. Generally they require an activation fee on the first payment, depending on the characteristics of the card, recharge costs may or may not be provided.
Step 4. Apply for a debit card for your PayPal account, if you have one
After logging into your account, select the option to request the card, answer the questions and submit the form. Paypal will notify you if they have approved your application and, after receiving the card, you can use it wherever a MasterCard is accepted.
