In Minecraft you can move around the game world using the crouch or stealth movement mode. The advantage of moving in this position is that you can build on the edge of the blocks without falling. Steps
Step 1. Launch Minecraft
Double-click the game icon on the desktop. Alternatively, select the icon in the 'Programs' list of the 'Start' menu. At this point, select the single or multiplayer game mode by selecting the appropriate button.
Step 2. Squat down
When you are inside the world, while your character is standing, press the 'Shift' button.
While your character is crouched, you will notice that the game view will drop slightly
Step 3. Move stealthily
To do this, while continuing to hold down the 'Shift' key, move your character around the play area using the keyboard buttons related to the four basic movements W, A, S, D.
Obviously while crouched, the height of the view and the speed of your movements are slightly reduced, but this will make it easier to stay on the edge of a block without falling
Advice
- While on the edge of a block, in a crouched position, be careful not to move or point the view too low as otherwise you could fall.
- When crouched you can also jump by pressing the space bar while holding down the 'Shift' key. This way you can jump up and down blocks.
