Step 14. Wait for the program to inform you that the jailbreak process has finished
Step 15. You can now disconnect the iPad 2 from the computer
The Cydia app will now be visible on the device's Home.
Step 16. Launch the Cydia app
You can use it to browse the list of all unauthorized Apple programs and apps that you can now install on your iPad 2, including themes and much more.
Method 2 of 2: Troubleshooting
Step 1. Try to use another of the programs proposed by Jailbreak Wizard to jailbreak, if the first one you chose failed to successfully jailbreak iPad 2
These programs are developed by independent users who have no ties to Apple, so it is not 100% certain that they will work in all cases.
Step 2. Try using a different USB cable and a different computer USB port if the jailbreak program or the computer itself can't detect the iPad
This way you will be able to identify any malfunctions related to faulty hardware components.
Step 3. If the jailbreak program displays any error messages, install all software and operating system updates on both your computer and iPad
When the software is not up to date, compatibility problems may arise between the operating system and the jailbreaking program.
Step 4. Restore iPad 2 using iTunes and computer if jailbreak procedure fails or iOS device malfunctions
This will restore the original iOS version and the factory settings of the device.
Step 5. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the jailbreak program to resolve errors and problems caused by incorrect software installation
If for any reason the installation of the program has accused a problem, the latter will not be able to function properly and carry out its work efficiently.
