This article shows you how to download and use TikTok on a Windows computer or Mac. TikTok is only available for Android or iPhone, but you can use an Android emulator to open the application on your computer.
Steps
Part 1 of 2: Download BlueStacks
Step 1. Visit https://www.bluestacks.com in a browser
Open the BlueStacks website using the browser of your choice.
Step 2. Click on Download BlueStacks, a green button located in the center of the screen
This will open a new page to download.
Step 3. Click Download
This green button will appear at the top of the page and will allow you to download the BlueStacks installer.
Step 4. Click on the BlueStacks installer
By default, the downloaded files are located in the "Downloads" folder. The installer has the title "BlueStacks-Installer", followed by a series of letters and numbers. On PC it is in.exe format, while on Mac.dmg.
Step 5. Click Install Now, a blue button that will appear at the bottom of the pop-up window
On Mac, double-click the icon in the center of the screen
Step 6. Click Complete, a blue button that will appear at the bottom of the screen
On Mac, click "Continue", then click "Install". You may need to type in the password associated with the Mac. In case the installation is blocked, click on "System Preferences", click on the lock icon at the bottom left, type in the password associated with the Mac and click on "Allow "in the window titled" Security and Privacy"
Part 2 of 2: Install TikTok on BlueStacks
Step 1. Open BlueStacks
The icon looks like a stack of colored squares.
Step 2. Click on App Center
It is the second tab at the top of the screen. This feature may take a couple of minutes to start.
Step 3. Log into your Google account
Enter your email address and the password associated with your Google account. Write your name and surname if they do not appear automatically, then click on the left arrow.
Step 4. Type TikTok in the search bar
The search bar is located at the top left of the application, next to an image of a yellow hourglass.
Step 5. Click on the TikTok application
The icon looks like a white musical note in the center of a black background.
Step 6. Click Install
This green button will appear next to the application.
Step 7. Click Accept in the pop-up window
The window will appear to notify you that the application needs to access the camera and other parts of the device.
Step 8. Click Open
Once the application has been installed, you can click on "Open". Now, log in or create an account to start using TikTok on your computer. Whenever you want to use the application on your computer, all you have to do is open BlueStacks, click on "My apps" and then on "TikTok".
