This wikiHow teaches you how to decide when to get notifications about Snapchat content sent to you on an iPhone, iPad, or Android device.
Steps
Step 1. Open Snapchat
The icon looks like a ghost on a yellow background.
Enter your username and password if login does not happen automatically
Step 2. Swipe your finger down anywhere on the screen
This will open the screen dedicated to your profile.
Step 3. Click on ⚙️
This button is located in the upper right corner and will allow you to access the "Settings" menu.
Step 4. Select Notifications
This option is located in the center of the menu section titled "My Account".
Step 5. Tap Get notifications from
It is the first option that appears on the screen.
Step 6. Select a group
In this section you can choose between two user groups:
- Click on "All" if you want to receive notifications every time someone sends you a Snap or a message on Snapchat.
- Click on "My friends" if you want to be notified only when content is sent to you from friends you have on Snapchat.
Step 7. Press the arrow to go back
It is located in the upper left corner. The notification settings have now been saved.
